  1. Yes and yes. I couldn't care less about bots, and I don't see why others do. Boo hoo, lobs have crashed. Find another moneymaker then, whatever bots do is chump change anyways. And I like my sharks at 500 GP. Of course, you can moralise the whole bot issue. I just see it as another element of the economy.
  2. I voted Slayer because that's what I think would suit my RS personality (so to say). I've no idea what these "classes" are you're talking about or what it has to do with skill caps of 120 in all other skills (which, according to some source on the RSWiki, will not happen).
  3. Wow, you're cool, you have billions of GPs and you're the richest person on the Tip.it forums (or, well, one of them anyway). Feel like rubbing it in my poor-ass 10M bank face a bit more?

I originally wanted to call this a waste of a thread but after seeing some of the responses I decided to reconsider. Classy thread, 10/10.
  5. WildyWyrms? Possessed by evil JMods? April the 1st sure has come early this year! (I mean, I think this is the second worst update ever right after the removal of free trade and Wilderness in 2007.)
  6. The grapple update is good, and maybe I can get some cheap infernal ashes. Otherwise, meh.

  8. I find this option totally redundant, what's more, it'd even be harmful because hardcore PKers would reshape their stats on their main accounts to their liking, gaining an even greater over the (already hopeless) casual, impure PKers who just do not have the time or the will to do that, or just need their high, imperfect stats as they are.
  9. He managed to lose 5 games with infinite infantry? That must be the worst player ever.

I don't know... these scams always seemed like "easily avoidable" to me. The only time I've been scammed, so to say, was when a "friend" betrayed me for 100k. Yeah, that's right, a mere 100k. Not more because I'm naturally distrustful of people so I never give out anything to anyone unless I can get over the loss quick. This is what happened. I've also almost fallen to the "free fish, show inv" scam the first time it happened, but luckily I was attentive enough still to notice the trick (I recall being rather sleepy at that time).
  11. Impressive video, I wish I could lure this well.
  12. Gloves of silence improve pickpocketing odds. I don't know of any decent moneymaker that heavily involves pickpocketing; only low level thieving training involves it at all, in fact.
  13. This post basically sums up my opinion on this matter.
  14. The old one for a simple reason: I can't stand seeing those hideously wide, stretched out grins of theirs that I had already hated on the tool leprechauns. Honestly, compared to this I found the old model okay. Besides, now they look too much like some happy-go-lucky fairy from a children's book - the old gnomes were little but could be taken seriously nonetheless.
  15. This is one of the worst aspects of humanity: people who just cannot accept change. Whenever something happens that changes something, they have to revolt against it.

Well, damn, that's a tough loss then. My best advice would be to put your remaining money into the G.E. for phats, maybe you'll get lucky.

Please enlighted us poor proles about what the Korasi glitch is.
  18. To be honest, "Jamflex" irritates me to no end. Nobody who is seriously whining about something uses it and it's a classic case of the whiner being less annoying than the one mocking him. Along with the massively stylised rape of the English language, that is. Please stop forever.
  19. Rolled back to 2007, preferably even earlier (~2005, somewhere around where I started). I've gotten most of the exp and money on my account after 2007 but I'm damn well ready to sacrifice that if I could just have some of the old RS. It's difficult to lay my hands on why I want it - after all, I wanted free trade and a proper wildy, and now I got it. Still, somehow the RS I started out in felt more right, more atmospheric, less newb-friendly (which I consider good at this point since this issue has also gone too far) and just more cool. Just like some people are with their childhoods, I'd love to relive 2005 RS, not wasting it as stupidly as I did. The one thing I would really hate is to have to complete the Underground Pass quests once again, but as I said, I'd even tolerate that. EDIT: And yeah, just as I clicked the post button I realised what my biggest gripe with it all is. Post 2007 RS is too overwhelming, too overcomplicated. More and more godlike items that even people with great social lives can get, ever more medium to high level stuff being added without any particular point other than to raise the max hit from 500 to 520, all the new spells, abilities, relics, whatever. Even the damn skills - I wonder how the new wildy will go in multicombat with all the arsewipes with steel titans. I don't care for all these. They're transforming PKing into something with two qualities that I despise: exclusive (meaning that either you get X and Y skills, items and stuff or you're hopelessly lost, and I'm talking about even 90+s here, or items worth 10s of millions you can lose on a whim) and chaotic (no skill or technique of any sort is gonna help, you just get all the "exclusive" stuff, jump into the fray and hope you come out victorious). And I'm focusing on PKing because whether it's wildy PKing or Castle Wars, it is half of what all that grinding you do culminates in. Naturally, if you only want to get your 200M Woodcutting XP that nobody cares about, it's pointless to even discuss this with you because you can do that in any RuneScape.
  20. Such comics are meant to be short and succinct, usually getting the point across in 4 pictures (+/- 2). Also, the FFFUUUUUUUU face should only be present in the final picture unless there is a very good reason to do otherwise. Just a bit of constructive criticism to break up the troll party.
  21. Why then do loads of banks supply them? I find it hard to believe they are that stupid. Banks aren't stupid, they are just trying to make it more simple for the computer-illiterate customers. Or, to put it more bluntly: it's not the banks, it's the people.
  22. No, lol, that is a personal thing. I would pay 20 incl sending, but I am sure a lot off ppl would not go higher then 5 or 10 bucks. The word reasonable is to exclude price from the issue and discuss this regardless. So if you think 2 bucks is reasonable, then assume it is that.. But that's pointless. It's like asking "Would you agree to buy the security dongle for the price you would agree to buy it for?" That's equally pointless. We can only get an accurate representation if we say that it would cost, for example, $5, so that we could see how much of the voters would shell out that $5. That's a poll worth conducting.
  23. I voted option 3 because that would be most advantageous for me. Objectively, though Extremes should obviously be allowed as they are a fine reward for buying the skill which is otherwise expensive and offers quite little in the higher levels. If people complain, they can join clans or team up with friends to PK because in these cases the advantage of the 1 person with 99 Herblore is mitigated. I'm just hoping that Jagex won't give in to the whiny masses who can't take the slightest challenge like they have done several times before.
  24. Thanks for the replies. I've done some superheating before, and it's cheap enough, alright, but not very fast and quite a pain. Might use it as a last resort though.
