About training magic.

Okay, so I'm gonna get 77 strength in a short time and I need something to blow the rest of my Hati gloves' charges on. As it happens, I decided this would be magic. My account name is Janaak. My question is: what's the fastest xp/hour method for training magic that doesn't normally cost more than 2 gp/xp? Thanks in advance.

I don;t think theres really any mage trianing optiosn that are that cheap aside from perhaps splashing confuse etc. But I think they "fixed" that a while ago.

I suppose you can always test whether non-combat magic works. If it does, do that, as you won't waste any xp on constitution.

Superheating, cursing, plank making and amulet stringing are all decent xp methods.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a viable way of training magic that's 2gp/xp. Hati gloves do work with none-combat magic (at least Lunar spells anyway) so like Quyneax said have a look at superheating, plank making, amulet stringing and cursing. Superheating and Cursing are pretty click intensive, but you will get smithing xp with the former and if you have access to concentrated gold you can mine gold there and superheat it without it interrupting your mining. Hope this helps!

i'd say go high-alching

I wouldn't. The other methods posted above are far better than high alching. And it's tough to get 2gp/xp for Magic, so you might have to make a sacrifice.

You can get 2 gp/xp with the right kind of superheating (mithril, adamant and runite even profit). Steel is -2 gp/xp (approx) and almost 70k xp/hr. Mithril is +2 gp/xp and 56k xp, I think without coal bag.

Oops those are smithing gp/xps. Well at any rate, superheating mithril profits.
