It's a big risk to take off all your armour in an attempt to bank it using the Yak. Wearing no armour increases the risk of a quick death before you get a chance to use the scroll ability. And besides, 96 summoning is a high level, they deserve the benefits. If a pker wants to attack someone that can summon a yak they have to understand that they might not get the loot and become skulled for nothing. That's the risk they take. The yak would simply give the advantage of being able to carry more food, which is great. For example, you could load the yak with more sharks, kill someone in deep wildy, put the loot on your yak and get out the food and still be able to survive one more duel on the way out against a weaker summoner since you have the food from the yak.

Look, if your Constitution is not 99 or something close, you may get killed in one attack anytime with certain weapons. Many other weapons also can damage much faster than somebody can eat up. Having a fighting familiar that will inflict some moderate damage or a unicorn that gives you some chance to survive a few more seconds isn't gonna wreck anything. Banking with familiars is the only issue I can see, and simply forbidding it in the wildy (which Jagex probably will do in 1 week following the obligatory nerdrage of the new update) would solve that.

Okay, so I'm gonna get 77 strength in a short time and I need something to blow the rest of my Hati gloves' charges on. As it happens, I decided this would be magic. My account name is Janaak. My question is: what's the fastest xp/hour method for training magic that doesn't normally cost more than 2 gp/xp? Thanks in advance.

...I mean, trolling can hardly get more obvious when the troll uses the trollface.

Based on the number of bewildered people asking you to prove your claims, I hereby proclaim you a troll until proven otherwise. Move along, people.

Where did they announce that they will stop updating RS?

Would you betray your best friend for a Phat?
Fairness replied to Normalize's topic in Questionnaires
As much as I'd like to say no, if a RS-only friend lent me a phat and wanted it back later, I couldn't guarantee it that the temptation wouldn't lead me to run off with the damn thing. Then again, I consider myself pretty honest otherwise, so it's not an easy question, and definitely not one that I can answer while almost definitely knowing that the situation is purely hypothetical. -
First off, I do not understand the word "reasonable". State an exact price, else I cannot and will not answer this poll. Secondly, refer to my first point.

Why do members want "love" on F2P servers? During my F2P career I got the impression that a sizable portion of the visiting members were arrogant, elitistic self-chosen demigods. Besides, it is true that some of them are bitter that they can't get membership or something like that and thus take it out on the members. Oh well... at least you get love here on the forums, don't you?

Who cares? If it makes you money, it's alright. Let him do it.

I'll say it again. Hey Racheya, if you want to delete spam posts, why don't you delete the whole thread? It's spam, and the trolling is obvious. This is not a flame post.

I think the basic outfit that ensures you will always fail the spell is a full set of metal armor (iron to dragon, no granite), metal boots and any vambraces.

If there is one word you put into a big size and bold, then it should be correctly spelled. Opinion. Comparing Jagex to communists? How new and original! Those damn communazis. If you've got a better solution to combating RWT than what we have now, you're welcome to share it with us. 2. This isn't something fun based. F2P gets a cap for the hell of it, P2P gets a cap to not overload the database too much. I'd imagine, anyway. 3. Do you suggest a sandbox game? Because if not, then your point is invalid. If yes, your suggestion is terrible. If you don't find grinding worth the fun you can get from good skills, then you're playing the wrong genre. Quit MMORPGs (and RPGs in general). 4. Again, wrong genre. Depending on which kind of cartoonish you meant: - If you want cutting-edge graphics with lots of flashy effects and Shader 54.0 water ripples, go play a modern FPS - If you want an adult game, go play Postal or Resident Evil games. 5. Valid point, although this is in part because the game is a MMO game. MMO games generally feel more scripted than single player games, where it's all about you and your freedom. 6. You made two main points against the PVP system. The first one is a problem with a skill requirement, which I, for one, find ridiculous. Is it your greatest problem with the weapon that you need 60 ranged for it? And in one way or another, it ought to make sense. Like, you zip in from long range to pj someone, and you need 60 ranged for that. The second point is a moot point because what you write is false. You can always fight however you want. If needed, you can get all 99's and fight however you want without any penalties at all. 7. You haven't gotten your point across, you just repeated all the arguments that RSOFers and low-budget Tip.it ranters spout all the time. And since you didn't say anything about the gameplay... hmm... if we were in real life, I would bet 5 dollars (or any equivalent in different currencies) that you haven't played through more than 2 floors of Dungeoneering. Also, I know you mentioned that these were your "opinions", but they seemed more like what you believe to be facts, masked as opinions. So that's how I treated them.

what rs item, ability ect would you want irl?

Teleportation. -
I normally have an RS background as well, most of them are actually rather well drawn. ~Dan wkw got pwned :) I can already see you aren't fit for this community for two reasons: 1. "pwned" 2. Disrespecting an old member. Considering you just joined yesterday, you should learn your place. Pull the stick out of your as.s He probably wasn't serious anyway. And what if he was? Wkw was being an as.s He deserved it, really .Also, BluePixels, you're right - this place is just as bad as it seems if you have a sense of humo.r Dman, I'm making a lot of ytpos toda,y I'd bettter get off for a hwile

Hmm, I didn't know what a "revrent" was, so I looked it up. You can learn something new every day. According to the first online dictionary that had this as a result, "revrent" is Scottish for "reverend". As for what that means, in case someone doesn't know: Reverend Adjective 1. Worthy of adoration or reverence. Noun 1. A member of the clergy and a spiritual leader of the Christian Church. 2. A title of respect for a clergyman. I don't care about religion, but I don't see what problem you could have with a member of the clergy. Maybe it's related to that pedophile scandal? In that case, you got the wrong police station, this is the Grammar Police. Also, sorry for going off-topic, but I want to say it regardless: I like the presence of revenants in the wilderness. Unlike most monsters these actually stand a chance if you aren't in full warrior gear. Is that really a problem? I don't think so.

Orly?! Hao i mien 4 fish? I love this form of propaganda. Don't like something, so disregard it as not "real" or "serious." Do tell, what is the difference between a "serious" and "not serious" skill? If I were to go to Andrew and say "what is up with dungeoneering" would he go "it was a joke, lol? " I don't see how pets made summoning silly. Oh no, you can have vanity pets that follow you around and eat food, no other MMO has ever done that before. Your other points here are valid, but do they make Dungeoneering "totally stupid?" No. Well accept my apologies that Dungeoneering isn't just another skill you can semi-afk train in a catatonic state at your computer for hours on end. I have it on good word from a parallel universe (where Dungeoneering was released as a mini-game) that you registered there as well to complain about how mini-games shouldn't be that complicated, and that if Jagex were to put out a "mini-game" too difficult to just jump into, that they should have just called it a skill. Hey Omali, you're half of the reason I visit this forum. Keep up the good work, sir.

Argonite spear and 125 zephyrium arrows. My skills unfortunately aren't good enough to smith anything better, and there aren't a lot of better weapons I could wield either.
-
It's certainly a minigame. That said, it's potentially probably the best minigame in RuneScape so far. It just needs to be polished, and a bit redesigned so that gearing up has a bigger role and that games wouldn't consist of just rushing to the boss (with the exp rates adjusted accordingly).
-
You may have misheard Dungeoneering. Get a hearing aid. Your point about it being a minigame is valid, but it's otherwise solid, with a few minor flaws and even fewer major flaws. My main gripe with the game is that gearing up is usually pointless since everything about the skill favors grabbing food then rushing through the place.

Give me a paypal account and I'll send you the 16 cents you payed for today, even though the games only been down for 2 of the 24 hours. Whiny [bleep]. You're the one whining because you lost your progress. Am I wrong? Just a word of advice, you would seem much more intelligent if you could express your opinion without swearing. After all, swearing stopped being cool when we (I, at least) turned around 9 or 10 (at the latest). Nice moneymaking possiblity I found out here, though. Copy a post into each RuneScape-related forum and proceed to receive 19 cents at each one! Given enough forums I could get another month of free membership from some nice, charitable gentlemen such as you two guys... Nah, just kidding. My post was intended to be a mockery of people's general reactions. Judging from your rage-reactions (esp. the first quote) that applies to you guys as well. You're complaining about wasting your time only to get rolled back because of erroneous code, yet you would gladly go to the Rants forum to make witty remarks at people who, due to a single update or a series of update, considered their whole careers a waste - when it's clearly not about you. And if it's not you, there are plenty of people here who are guilty of that. As you guys often advise in said forum - get over it. It was just two hours; whatever you did, 120 minutes of your life went to waste. That's not a damn lot. (Although somewhere, I heard that Jagex actually rolled back about 30 hours. If so - you owe me a bit short of 3 bucks. )

I love how they automatically think the majority of RuneScapers are idiots. Not to mention that everywhere I look, "spelunking" is written with one L. Erm, I think the point is that writing it Spellunking was a pun on the whole fantasy genre of the game but because it had spell in the name it would confuse people into thinking it revolved around Magic. So, they could have reverted to the (still better) name of Spelunking. Getting your "Dung level" asked is going to get old fast. You say the majority of Runescapers aren't idiots, but many are still under 13 and thus many will not know what Spelunking even means, let alone then understand the pun. And personally I find Spelunking, whilst a good word ;), a worse name for the skill than Dungeoneering. Raiding would get them and insane amount of ranting about WoW copies, more so than they have now and I can't think of any other names off the top of my mind right now, but Dungeoneering seems to have been the best choice so far to me...It doesn't sound that bad. :) So? It's not like Spelunking is the first word which a, ahem, underage person wouldn't know. I'm not native English, so I don't know which words you (they, whichever) learn before the others, but I could probably think of a few words that would also fall under this category, like, say, "scimitar", "hasta" (which I didn't know of before it got introduced, either) or the many mechanics-related words that plague many of the dwarven and "abandoned cavern"-style quests. Besides, I was pretty young when I accessed the Internet first on a regular basis, but it didn't take long to figure out how to get the meaning of an unknown word over Google. Also, who talked about Raiding? I find that a terrible name regardless.

I didn't feel like playing today. HA! Will they also roll back my membership credit? Because that, on the other hand, went to waste for me as well.
