Do you look down on untrimmed Cooking capes?

Featured Replies

I used to think they were stupid and nooby, but now I am indifferent. Cooking is definitely the easiest, and probably overall the fastest (in terms of having to make money to do pray/herblore/cons and charm gathering for summ) 99 skill. Is it really a noob achievement? Or is it a good, true achievement?

i look down on skillcapes in general.

sw for pray, firecape for melee, ava's for range, mage arena cape for magic

spottier or ava's for skilling

there is actually no need for a skill cape unless for fancy dress parties or something

yes

Why would I look down on them? They're one of the easiest capes, that doesn't mean getting them is a negative achievement or anything. The people I look down on are those who are asses towards people with "lesser" skillcapes.

You're being watched.

Before I used to, but now, I don't.

I don't by all means think it's worth it to showboat it, so I guess i'm indifferent.

I look down on people that brag about having untrimmed cooking capes

Same goes for fletching and Firemaking.

I love people who spend 100 hours for a coloured obsidian cape. They never realize I can achieve their 99 in 20 hours from 35 and that their capes suck aestheticly and statistically.

skill capes are in a desperate need of a graphical overhaul. The capes (except for 120 dg cape) look awful.

If it is an untrime cook, fletch, or other "easy" skill, yes.

If its a combat or other skill, no I don't

Nah I don't look down on anyone with Skillcapes. People with 99 cooking have more patience than I have for skilling in general, so tbh grats to them.

Only person I look down on is Drazhar44 ;) But that's because I love him and he is practically a brother to me so I expect a better 99 soon. :P

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.

Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

A lvl 99 is a lvl 99.

Even if it's a fast skill - it still takes time. So, I don't think lesser of anybody who has an "easy" skill cape.

However, I never understood that - in 95% of the time - these skill capes are useless (not as good as another cape)

RS should change the skillcape/make it better or actually have it be beneficial. A +1 in a 99 skill doesn't really help so...

One thing they can do is make skill capes only an appearance thing.

You could use it to cover a different cape so you can have a fletching skillcape over a ardy cape or something.

I doubt it'll happen though.

I only aprove of Slayer Skillcape because it looks awesome and it shows true dedication and skill, as well as not being a mindless skill *erm erm* Runecrafting.

So to answer your question, yes, Cooking SC in general is for noobs.

No1s_Perfect.png

No. Any 99 is an accomplishment and a grind.

I don't look down on them, but I don't praise them; I just think nothing of them.

This

Nope. Just because it's one of the faster 99s it doesn't mean it isn't an achievement.

[hide]sevestia.png[/hide]

No because I has one. lol

x_krohboy_x.png

nope

attack was my first 99 though

No; the only cape I dislike seeing is untrimmed strength

Also I have an untrimmed cooking cape but I wear SW now; I still don't think they're bad capes to have

All skills 70+

Trails: 2 x Rune platebody (g)

Barrows: 1 x Dharok's legs

Drops: 1 x Dragon skirt | 1 x Dragon defender

I look down on using them as it's so easy to get a better cape - especially if you play enough to get a 99.

I don't think they are very special either. I don't care much for them at all. But I won't put someone down for having one.

If you think you are good because you have a 99, I won't take you seriously regardless of the 99, but in my opinion untrimmed cooking (and some other common untrimmed capes) make such bragging even more stupid.
