I know that the only way to get them is by either mining or woodcutting and waiting for the head to fall off. I was wondering how often this occurs and whether it does so only on the first swing taken at rock/tree. I don't really play anymore. The problem is that they aren't equipable. I think everyone is mis-interperating me. I do not want a handle because I have head. I want a handle so that my character will look unique. The only way I can achieve this is by getting the random whilst mining/woodcutting and then leave the handle equipped and never take it off. Btw, yes, it only falls off on the initial swing at the tree, never while you are chopping, so you could try and click-click-click... Don't follow me.
