Recently noticing the firecapes on numerous people I decided it musnt be that hard and decided to give it a go.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Because im very poor and only have a bank of 2m (the fury is lent from a friend) I came up with a method and an inventory which at the most costs around 900-1m depending on your range level and if you beat jad on the first go.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The difference in my method is using ancient magiks as the healing method instead of gunthans. I find magic easy to use and you only need to have done the quest and have 56 mage for blood burst to use it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I recommend using blood spells on the 180s and make sure to take your ranging armour off.

So will 99 magic be enough to replace ranged while killing Jad? I mean I have sucky range (56), but I've 99 magic.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I would go for that cape probably if it weren't for it's 3-4 hours straight of fighting....I usually get interrupted.

99 mage can be enough but is harder and more expensive

 

 

 

+ range rips through everything mage hits less.

im 96 attk, 45 def, 85 str...and only 70 ranged, and if i got 68 (61 now)magic

and if so, could you clear up for me how many runes and bolt racks you brought, ive never went for fire cape, so i diidnt know if that pic was before you started or once you were alrdy at jad

Wow very good tips im sure you were the first to figure this out....

nice. but i finished it with guthans/crystal bow already, but if i lose my cape ill try your method.

i only used about 80 casts of blood spells before i got to jad, i then used another 20-30 casts on the healers to get my hp back.

 

 

 

if your maging the whole way i suggest about 3k casts and wear mage boosting armour + prayer bonus

when did u do this bcuz the added htis prayer delay march 20th and its like impossible to kill jad

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

died twice this week bcuz of the delay - not trying again till its fixed

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the light goes on for the prayer but ur not protected for another 2 to 3 seconds

i just killed jad like couple of weeks ago. i didnt notice any glitch
