Thx gun_hippy, yeah I run no armour with a tele, it just seemed that there were getting to be a ridiculous amount of high level rc pkers before I quit. I can handle one every few hours though, i'm fast on the tele so i've never been pked, it's just the inconvenience that irritates me, I think I'll give it a bash. :D

Hi, I've just got back from a 6 month break from RS and have an empty bank. I'm thinking of RCing my money back but was just wondering what the state of the abyss is these days. Just before I quit there were an obscene amount of maxed rc pkers (i'm 119 cbt.) I couldn't go say 30 minutes without coming across one and I let them get me more angry than any intelligent person should :P . What is it like currently? Thanks

I forget the prices at the time, but I made a mil/ish on the chain and 2mil/ish on the other trade. Cba with expensive stuff lyk chains, furies, ranger sets, etc so sold straight away, rares show off ur wealth better and are an investment. :P 2nd trade I wasn't sure of prices (chat box) but accepted and was right to do so. :P

They can when it is stealing money from them. Hell, they have legal grounds for a lawsuit (checked with one of my lawyer friends). At least they are giving everyone a chance to clean up. Proof? To be honest I seriously doubt that your "lawyer friend" knows what he's talking about if he told you this, but when I see proof I'll believe you. Sig script looks up HS -> bandwidth used -> multiplied by every single of of these sigs atleast once a day. Bandwidth costs money, these sites do not have permission to use this bandwidth so it is therefore theft. Stealing isn't illegal? So yeah, of course Jagex could sue. I'd assume the majority of them are used on RS fansites so they're probably not even bringing many new players into the game.

Your lvl is irrelevant if you're good at teleing, i'm 117 and I wear boots of lightness, duel ring, glory, bronze pick (works just the same as rune and there's a spawn in barbarian village) and i take an ecto. I'll prob Anyone but tbers have no chance at getting you if you watch for them, and you can see tb in the air. I just lower my camera on the way up and watch for people running for me, or turning towards me to cast or range. I ecto, lumby tele for pray, glory to edge, pk gear on, bye bye abyss pker if they haven't left, they're never equipped for a proper fight so they go down amost of the time. I met a lvl 80something with 96 rc once who does exactly the same. Rc pker pking can be profitable. :lol:

LOL since when is it $7 per gp? You can get mils for less than that (if you're into that sort of thing.)

The drops are quite rare, I personally wouldn't bother fighting them just for a black mask.

I'd do 99 smith myself, I prefer a few maxed skills to a load of medium ones.

You always get the spells base xp, whatever style you use, wether you hit or not. Then you get either 2 xp for each hit or 1 to mage and 1 to def depending on your selected style.

It doesn't specifically say but I assume the hits xp is always the same. I've never trained mage through combat so I dunno.

You can't get 2 fire capes, the second time you just get double the tokkul. There's a way of doing it with ancient mage and mellee I think. It's probably somewhere in the guides forum.
