training slayer = -money?

I am 46 slayer atm, and going for 65 for dusties. If I use guthans to train, will I make enough money from drops to cover repair costs, or do I need some other source of money to cover it? (I'll be using full rune + whip, and switching to guthans when I get low on hp)

thanks for the help.

Edit:

Which slayer master should I use?

I will be 99 cb, and my stats are at the side.

Should I go to the lvl 70 slayer master or the lvl 100?

Because it degrades when you wear it. It's "Guthan's as cheap as it gets" in usage. Sure, that's 2 inv spots you'll lose, but you would only wear the complete set for a short time, thus minimising its degradation.

That's what I was thinking but... I don't find repair costs all that bad, specially if you can afford Guthan's in the first place, seems weird to then skimp out as much as possible on a bit of repair costs...

On the other side of that arguement, after buying Guthan, some of us may HAVE to be a tight as that....

Almost everyone with Guthans has the entire set in his/her inventory. You will begin to make profit after 2-3 tasks. 'Nuff said.

2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

Go to Chaeldar in Zanaris until you are level 100 combat, then switch to Duradel in Shilo. Slayer has paid my way in runescape and I have everything I need and almost everything I want at the moment :D

Edited to add: I was really mad that I waited so long to buy Guthan's armour for training slayer. It really does pay for itself, including any depreciation due to the market - although I will never sell mine, lol.

Bones to Peaches is helpful, but it does not help when you are slaying something that does not drop regular bones. A lot of slayer monsters drop ashes and various kinds of other bones that the spell will not work with.

yes, after you get a few trips, the drops should come in, and that will get you some money.

And the repair coat at 0 for full is only 330k, not much compared to all the food saved and benefits to having a lot longer trips

Indeed, part of the great benefit of Guthan's is being able to do long assignments without needing to bank for food. Just try it, if you don't like it sell. :D
