Im thinking of maging it, but I dontknow where to stand or anything the guides are frigging useless at this point. Is there any guide that tells you where to stand like in the lost city quest?

He is immune to mage practically, so i'd use a bow.

Agreed. Range is you best bet. Just stand to where he is barely in view. Turn on mage protect and range him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You could also let the gnomes whittle away his health before you attack.

 

 

 

But you do have to do some damage or the demon will regenerate.

there is a safespot... but youll have to let the gnomes kill the demon :P only do that if you are willing to waste up to 30 min i think... :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

you can also set up a cannon, load it go to the safespot and when the demon is around 10% of health activate the cannon and run back... thats ho9w most lvl 30s do the quest

That is also true, but i found it extremely hard getting to the safe spot, and the Gnones very rarely hit the Demon.

 

 

 

He hits for 32 without pray, and can do so often.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Seeing as you are 43 pray, it would seem pointless doing it any other way than praying against him and ranging.

if you are going to attempt the demon get 60 range it makes life VERY easy. always bring a teleport, unless you want to go though that maze again to talk to the mage to get another

i did it at 50 range and won within minutes, i just stood where i started and ranged him, protect from mage and the gnomes and i killed it.

Be careful I think there has been a glitch with pray going on with the demon. My friend went to kill the demon he had his range armor sharks and pray pots but when he went to the demon and put on his mage protect it didn't work. The mage protect icon was there but he continued to be hit and got hit with three consec 32's which took him out. Two days later we tried it again and his pray worked and killed it within a few minutes

i thought it was just my lag on my comp but mine has been doing that to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

when the prayer icon is on it doesn't work an when the icon isn't on it does work....it was doing it to me at barrows earlier....anyone else experienced this?

Yea i was completely shocked i did monkey madness at CB lvl 75 range lvl 50 and 43 pray with ease. this was last august tho. I just went in hit pray and shot him down with arrows. I was sitting right by my friend when he went in and he hit pray and boom boom boom 32-34-34 dead. We were both in shock. then he did it a few days later and it worked like a charm

I dont know if it was mentioned b4, but what i did was stand on the bridge with protect from magic. It was pretty safe and i never was close to die.

I stayed along the sides, well away from the demon. I watched its health deplete as the gnomes attacked it to near death. When its HP was low, I'd run in and DDS spec it. Just make sure the gnomes don't hit the final blow.

Im level 41 range I am NOT. GOing to train 19 levels.

Anyway I'll have a go. And Ill get another sigil if I have to. That "maze" doesnt bother me its pretty simple even without energy pots.
