Hey everyone i been away form this game for about 5 years. Just felt like pking again and was wondering if they changed the system that much. i got a few questions

 

1: Are pures still dominate?

 

2:How is pking different now from the classic way

 

3:are quest items still untradeable?

 

 

 

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated

1: Yes pretty much, however defence is now alot more key. Things like Dharok's armour set can also mess things up for pures.

 

2: There is no longer the 3-round system, you can run at any time, and the same for eating. Also, you can now be held in place by Ice Spells (Ancient Magicks) or by things like Bind, Snare and Entangle. Now weapons, and special attacks. For example, DDP(++) attack allows 2 hits in the place of 1.

If someone does run, you run after them and still keep hitting them, only they'll turn on melee protect and run most likely.

 

 

 

Some people take Entangles to stop them... So pk in level 5, even if they're only 1 level higher/lower than you.

holding spells are very necessary if you want to pk

Another spell you should definitely be aware of that wasn't around in RSC is teleblock. At level 85 mages can block off your teleporting spells that could help you (or your opponent) escape.

 

 

 

Also, I'm not sure of the exact number, but you can't teleport over level (25?) wilderness.

i went into wildy with my r2h and couldnt do a thing...is the weapon too slow for pking now? if so whats the pk weapon of choice on the free servers and p2p

yes they changed the speeds of the weapons so now your best bet to pk with would be a scimmy.

Scimmy are you serious? I didnt even know they still had those...that used to be like the most useless weapon. Ok for a rune chain pure scimmy is the best weapon? Ok..anything else i should know about the PK changes. I'm too old to change my ways :(

I haven't read previous posts but for F2P most pures PK with both a Rune 2H and a Scimitar.

 

 

 

You use the scimitar for normal combat and once your opponent's HP is below your max hit for Rune 2H, you switch weapons and hope for a KO. It's much too hard to go for the old 3 hit ko ( :cry: ) and straight up combat doesn't work anymore because people always run away and there's little one can do to stop them (in f2p).

Yea, pking nowadays is sooo leet (lol don't know that word in english, coz I live in Lithuania, I know it my language). Like you attack even higher lvl with full rune, if you are lucky to hit few 12-14+ in a row he teles or runs or w/e... I have no idea what PKing was in RSC, haven't played that, but I think I want RSC's rules here ^^. And now is a lot of PJers and taggers, so it's hard to PK solo, you are gonna die soon in unfair fight. You must ask to fight them if you don't wanna be flammed or reported for attacking or whatever.

 

About that 3-hit system: Tele run eating was forbidden in it yea? Well now it is called honour, coz you can do it all the time.

 

 

 

Oh, I almost forgot the most needed things:

 

if you meet guy in full rune, you must say "def noob", or if in full iron "pure noob". One more thing, if you kill somone in wildy, you MUST yell something like "z0mg 1 own33d jo0 nub!!!"

And another thing which would be good to know is that 40 att isnt as good as it used to be. If u have 40 att and a rune guy attacks you, you wont be able to hit him that much, thats why many have 60 att - even f2ps..

well I wanted to tell it, just I was in a hurry. Yes, you couldn't run, eat or tele until both players hit 3 times. That's my knowledge about it, I don't know exactly.

I can - You could only eat,tele etc when you were NOT fighting, so if you got atted you had to w8 3 rounds and then run, and then eat, tele etc.

pking is much harder now than it used to be.

Hey Kirill, you may also want to know that F2P now has new boots (only addition since rs2 came out actually), whith better stats. They can be found whithin the Stronghold of Security at barbarian village

oh, and if you have any partyhats, they are worth several hundered million each. Check the forums for the exact prices.

 

 

 

Yea, blue phats are like around 400M ea i think, and those boots ain't so good, +1 or +2 in def, but Skull Sceptre rocks. If you collect all four pieces from all four levels you can make yourself Skull Sceptre, which can tele you to barb village 5 times!

rs2 pking is probably more brutal, not very nice people, theyll do anything to fight then kill u

 

 

 

what may help a lot is search up rs2 pking vids(not sure about the site then pm me)and just watch how they do it, learn from what they do and then post if u have a question about something they do that confusese u

 

 

 

 

 

f2p ko methods include using a rune scimmy with str potion and prayer, then when they get to low health, quickly switch to 2h, which normally hits slower but when used right after scimmy hits fast

 

 

 

dunno bout p2p, but they can hit massive, dragon dagger can take out 60 damage in 1 turn, mages can hit 30 and freeze u in place at the same time

o and also, if u have any holiday items, they are worht a lot..
