Calculation help-99 smithing

Well guys, who doesn't want a level 99 skill? I want an untrimmed smithing skill cape. Now, I am not really good with a calculator. So... If anyone would be kind enough to figure how many iron bars I would need to get to 99 smithing from level 15 making only iron knives. Also, how much do iron knives sell for? Thanks!

Don't do knives. I'm doing them just til 65, and it's already making taking one of the knives to my head :x

 

 

 

Do cballs or gold instead.

I was thinking about cannon balls but it is only 26.5 xp per bar.

cannonballs = way too slow

 

knives = free, but will take you ages for 99

 

gold/steel = costs a LOT of money

steel is best, and yeah it costs some money.

 

I just bought steel bars for getting 85 smith :)
