Hello all. I just had a thought, would it be cheaper and safer to take 24 coal with you to the rune rocks in the wildy, along with the nats and fires to use superheat item? Maybe safer? That way you would end up with 4 items, and you could use protect item if getting attacked. PLease let me know if this is worth it, thanks! :

If you're gonna fill your inventory up like that, why not just bring 20 shark, a 2 dds poisoned and a super str. Then you get your rune ore AND you get their armor and weapon since they skulled.

I think he's talking F2P. P2P probably wouldn't have this problem (They have other mines).

 

 

 

Generally the rune miners don't have the smithing level to smith rune.

 

 

 

And you wouldn't need to bring coal, because there are plenty of mines in the wildy with coal.

 

 

 

Actually, I don't really see how this helps.. How would having rune bars and then the rest rune ore be beneficial..?

 

 

 

Unless you plan on *just* getting 4 rune bars, but what's the difference from 4 rune ores? And miners never just get 4 ores, it's not worth the trip to the wildy. They get full inventories usually.

easy solution

 

make a new lvl 3, do tut island, i perfer names like: My rune scout, or something like that, i can't remember what mine was :) Take them up to the rune rocks (bring a little food, i made it there alive, but with 2 hp) then just log on to that account, if its clear, bring your rune miner... also, if some noob is up there and kills you, chances are youll be able to kill a lvl 50 with your rune pick (most rune miners are 80+) just come and own them :)

Safeguard? To me its no different from mining 4 rune ores..

I'm a rune miner myself and I wouldn't do it that way.

 

You even loose more if you got 20 rune bars in your inv and someone kills you...

 

 

 

Just try using a scout, it's also better for finding full rocks because you don't have to wait untill your profile is switched.

Clearly this is for F2P mining, disregard p2p. Btw, did you notice that he has the max amount of experience in every skill with all 99's? Find it the least bit suspicious that he isn't on the highscores with those stats?

I should've posted that I am P2P. I cannot mine rune yet, but I was maybe suggesting that this could work.

Making a scout is easiest way. This is completly pointless, as the it is easy to run from FTP rune miners. I am not one, but my friend who has 99 mining, showed me many ways
