Technically speaking the police have no business in this incident. It is on the school to determine the punishment.

Then again it is America, where anything can happen :uhh:

Since when are schools on their own Jurisdiction?

I talk from experience. There's yet to be a school-yard fight here where the police have cared about it. The only time they have ever been involved is when the principle has felt the need to take it further.

Parents who have tried to have students charged with assult have been told to direct their complaints to the principle or the board of education if they weren't satisfied. They didn't even get into a courtroom.

You shouldn't of fought at all no matter how much you wanted to. If it is absoloutly necessary then defend yourself. You said that you started it.

In that case id file a complaint against the police.

I'm assuming this is when you were at school?

I don't know what its like over east but the cops in Western Australia cant get away with failure of duty anymore they've been in the spotlight for awhile now (Since it was discovered that they were/are the most corrupt force in the country).

The guy didn't strike back I for one hope you are charged because im sick of cowards like you.

Your nothing but a weak little kid trying to be a "Big Man"

attacking someone who cant/wont fight back.

Not really. I attacked him because I have a very short temper, and this guy, well I practically loathe this guy. And honestly, in no way whatsoever was I trying to be a big man by attacking him, I just, like I said, have a short temper.

FYI, I'm not a "weak little kid" like you say I am, nor a coward. If I was a weak little cowardly kid, I would've gotten some other bigger guys I know to punch him instead of doing it myself.

You ARE a coward who attacked someone who obviously couldn't defend them self.

Temper has nothing to do with it what you did was a cowardly assault on someone possibly weaker than you.

Ive dealt with your type alot in the past I can tell you your not as tough as you think you are I suggest you goto your room and think about your actions.

Ah yes, you're playing the short temper card. I know a lot of children who use this as an excuse to behave like moronic thugs. Control yourself and in future, take responsibility for your own actions. No-one's buying the short temper crap any more.

The Poison Fairy

I'm laughing at you. Why? Fighting over a girl.

And yes, charges can be filed against you.

Assault -

1. a sudden, violent attack; onslaught: an assault on tradition.

2. Law. an unlawful physical attack upon another; an attempt or offer to do violence to another, with or without battery, as by holding a stone or club in a threatening manner.
