It didn't bother me, it just wasn't correct English. ::'

Me doing staff.

You started the fight, and he didn't attempt to fight back? Over a highschool girlfriend?

You are an idiot, and I hope you do get charged.

Just what I was going to say.

Common sence tells you to stop after the 2nd punch or so if he's not fighting back, right?

When the chav punched me right in the face its because he claimed I touched his girlfriend... It was a fabrication.

Perhaps you should have spoken to him first before resorting to violence.

Are you serious Daan? The kid didn't do anything to him, and he didn't do anything back to him. How about you learn how to handle your problems in a mature way, rather than beating them up. I mean seriously, how childish can you be? And on top of that he didn't even hit him back! Like I said, he deserves to have charges filed against him. Maybe it'll teach him a lesson.

Of course I'm serious. The kid was messing with his girl, reason enough to give somebody a smack on the face. Sometimes you just gotta stop hippieng around and resort to a little bit of violence. Sjeez, six punches, what are we whining about. Hitting back or not doesn't matter. Charges filled against him, pathetic. It's a schoolyard fight, get over it. Stop treating your kids like they're grown ups.

Oh, it wasn't at school. Still, parnets can talk it over with the kids, nothing to get all that worked up over.

I'm not attempting to treat them as adults, just civil people. We disagree, I think it's pretty ridiculous.

Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

Ah, sorry about that, maybe i worded it wrong. The guy is just from my school, we didn't actually fight at school. And for the love of god, it wasn't over the girl because we both liked her, it was because he touched her. Wrongfully. So please, stop the damn criticism, although I did leave that out. My fault on that one.

I think this makes you sexist. Instead of letting your girlfriend deal with the problem like any normal person (reporting it to the police), you play out the stereotypical strong, male hero who is protecting the weak, feminine woman.

If you were so concerned about the situation, you would have made sure that she reported the sexual assault to the police and made sure they took action, instead of committing a similar crime. But hey justice is served

You eat, sleep and breathe arguing semantics. Arguing and 'discussing' in anything. It's all I ever see you post.

I don't think I have ever initiated an argument on these grounds. I only have participated in them when there is a bigger picture. Oh and guess what, this is a discussion forum. What would you like me to do apart from discuss on a forum? If you have any ideas other than talking to people, I'd quite like to hear them.

Once I get home this afternoon I'll go ahead and find all the topics where you argued on petty details.

Because god forbid that you should defend a woman because that would be violating her rights. Oh, no. If someone touched my girlfriend in an indecent manner, I'd just stand around and let it happen, because stepping in and intervening would be sexism.

Granted, that's not a fair comparison, because my girlfriend would probably kick seven types of crap out of whoever it was before feasting on their still-beating heart.

It would take awhile, I wouldn't bother. You have a WoW addiction to feed :P

Indeed.

I can think of a few times off the top of my head, just gotta find 'em.

I think threatining a kid who fought another kid with pressing charges isn't very civil. You can talk things over with the kid and his her parents normally as well. There's no need to overreact and take a KID who gave out six punches to court (that's what "pressing charges" means, right?).

We all know that this wont be taken to court, like the guy said; the other guy touched his girlfriend in an inappropriate manner. It's just school yard threats.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

We all know that this wont be taken to court, like the guy said; the other guy touched his girlfriend in an inappropriate manner. It's just school yard threats.

It's not about him being taken to court or not. It's about people here saying he deserves that. And that's ridiculous. Or atleas, that's how I see it.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.

It's funny. A thread about a fight and it has about 3 seperate arguments in it.

Anyway, it's your fault for hitting him.

I agree, he does not deserve to go to court over it. The courts have more pressing issues to deal with, I would think.

Punching someone isn't defending a woman, it's just being a hoon. What does it achieve? Your honour as a man? Couldn't his girlfriend handle the situation herself? It's male hedonistic violence, not defending anything.

Stepping in and detaining the person until the cops come is perfectly acceptable. What the poster did was went and bashed some guy after the event occurred, instead of doing the right thing and reporting it the police. He wasn't standing there letting it happen, he just wanted personal revenge.

It's not about him being taken to court or not. It's about people here saying he deserves that. And that's ridiculous. Or atleas, that's how I see it.

The person he hit didn't deserve it either. Vigilante action isn't justifiable no matter how right you think it is.

Well I personally think it's pretty stupid to hit someone if they haven't hit you first. Although filing assault charges is pathetic.

At my school the kids just get suspended for a few days.

technicly no, its not assault. it is called battery.

assault is intimidating someone into thinking you will hurt them... battery is when you actualy do hit\punch\shank him\her

:XD:

It is still assault. The legal term is Assault and Battery.

I dunno if I missed anything, but is there any way to tell if the "fight" actually happened? The fact that it's just your word against his is a pretty strong defense.

Secondly, I think the cost of a lawyer is much more expensive than the money you'd get from sueing about something this small. You hit him 6 times, he has a few bruises. That's what? $100?

jjroxlu7.jpg

The guy didn't strike back I for one hope you are charged because im sick of cowards like you.

Your nothing but a weak little kid trying to be a "Big Man"

attacking someone who cant/wont fight back.

If i had known who it was the person who punched me in the face recently i would have filed charges. Serves you right.

The worse thing you can do is NOT file charges.

Technically speaking the police have no business in this incident. It is on the school to determine the punishment.

Then again it is America, where anything can happen :uhh:

Since when are schools on their own Jurisdiction?

That was yesterday, and today he is talking to me saying his dad will file charges against me for assault. I don't really think he can do this, seeing as there was only a minor amount of physical pain I caused to this guy.

If he wants to file charges then he deserves to.

Why should the victim be the "Loser" in this case I hope he sues you see who the victor is then.
