You expect to punch someone 6 times without them trying to fight back and not get in trouble for it? You did commit assault and you should be punished for it, and maybe a bit more for thinking it's not assault.

fractalsignature2lq4.jpg

You fought over a girl? Meaning the girl liked both of you? As in the girl will now hate you for punching the other guy she likes?

99 Slayer since August 2007.

Oh... noes.

So if he did file charges for assault, he'll be known as the guy who spent money filing a case over a schoolyard fight where nobody was seriously injured. Assuming, of course, that nobody was seriously injured.

I do not approve of this thread. It contains no awesome, nor win.

I think it was more of a "they both liked her" and it was a fight to "claim the prize" if you have to phrase it like that :uhh:

Quite the pathetic approach either way, but kids will be kids.

You started the fight, was the only one to fight and were the cause of the fight. Regardless how minor it is, technically it was assault.

Actually technically it's Common Assualt or Actual Bodily Harm. Assualt means only the threat of violence. Common Assualt is the threat of violence and some form of physical touching. This is probably more Actual Bodily Harm but police don't like to spend money on the possibility of the case going to a higher court which ABH would maybe require. That and it's a schoolyard tussle.

But yes, i don't think he will charge anything against you, no matter how pathetic you acted towards him.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Get your dad to punch his dad 6 times

Anyway it isn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t a big deal, if there are no witnesses your free.. any proof that you started it?

Did he insult your gf?

Assault: Threatening

Common Assault/ABH: hitting

GBH: grevious bodily harm when you seriously hurt someone <-- you cant be done for this, but assault/ABH I don't see why not after all you did just admit to it and seem to show little or no remorse.

Next time use your words, it's what separates us from animals. I don't see what the big fuss is, if you're in high school your relationship is bound to end in the next couple of months and all this hubbub will be a waste of your life. Focus on school, girls will come and go.

I say you shouldnt of smacked him but hes being a bit of a puff filing charges - over here ud just get a warning and a record for 6 months but i dunno over there.

Eh, you deserve to have charges filed against you.

Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

He fought over his girlfriend, so that makes him my hero. You'll be alright. Every healthy kid fights every once in a while. And come on, a punch or six, it's not like you gave him a skull fracture or something.

Dude, I'm now editing my post, because this is really nonsense. Why the heck should you get charged for punching a guy at school. What's up with these sick people here "yea, they should put charges on you for fighting", sjees, when I had a fight on school (which didn't happen that often, maybe three or four times) our parents didn't even knew, and if they did they didn't mind it either, and if it got out of hand parents just contacted eachother and things would be fine.

When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

I think it's pretty stupid what you did. and you deserve to get charged. You hit some guy 6 times and he didn't hit you once. Not the sharpest tool in the shed...

He didn't have a fight. He attacked someone who didn't retalliate, continuing to hit them 5 more times whilst they just took it. That's not a fight.

tell on him for talking "bullplop" and say it caused you mental damage lol.

As rarely as I agree with parabola (we've had some religion arguments im sure you remember  ) I have to say I agree, its not a fight, its a beating.

Well when you try and start a fight it's not as if you swing a single punch and wait to get belted back.

La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

To be honest I wouldn't be trying to start a fight because of the potential repercussions.

Exactly, as soon as you do that you lose any right to moan about the consequences.

I didn't say anything about moaning about consequences. If you start a fight, you need to accept the consequences, even if you disagree with them. I still think that fighting has a time and place though.

La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

simple sulution, hit him harder next time and give him a reason to charge you.

Say what you mean and mean what you say because those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter.

Slightly aside here: I really hate when people think they can charge someone over a fight. Chances are, the person filing the charges either started the fight or completely deserved what was coming to him and just got his [wagon] handed to him. If you can't handle a fight don't start one, or don't run your mouth until someone punches it.

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

Yeah I'm sure old ladies who get beaten up in an attempt to steal their money were 'running their mouths'.

I'm pretty sure stealing someones purse deserves any beating that the old lady could give. Why even mention something completely unrelated to what I mentioned?

It is related to what you said. Violence doesn't only get initiated by people 'running their mouths'. There are a myriad on different circumstances that could lead to someone getting punched, and your ignorant blanket-post implied that it is always their fault in some way.
