There are a myriad on different circumstances that could lead to someone getting punched, and your ignorant blanket-post implied that it is always their fault in some way. That's completely ridiculous. I was commenting on a certain circumstance. I said that I hate when people file charges on a fight that was initiated by them in some way. I did not say that it is always like that in every instance nor that it is wrong to charge someone in a situation where it actually is assault and not a High School fight. I provided an example of a 'fight' (of the same sort that the OP had) in which the victim was neither deserving of the attack nor responsible for it.

Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

What's up with these sick people here "yea, they should put charges on you for fighting", sjees, when I had a fight on school (which didn't happen that often, maybe three or four times) our parents didn't even knew, and if they did they didn't mind it either, and if it got out of hand parents just contacted eachother and things would be fine. Are you serious Daan? The kid didn't do anything to him, and he didn't do anything back to him. How about you learn how to handle your problems in a mature way, rather than beating them up.
