venomai
Ermm.. Sorry, but I don't like it much. Looks way too plain, needs a ton more detail and the shading needs alot of work. The shadows under the cheeks (The black things under his eyes..? Dunno what those are..) look too dark, as if his face is steeply sloping inwards from there. If they are wrinkles, the shading should look more like the wrinkles are indented into his face, instead of extruding from it. It should be highlighted there, if anything. Though its quite good for a first. Keep practicing, and don't use such soft shading on the hair :) It could probably sell for a bit atm, even though it needs improvement. venomai
Ah, I'm not familiar with DragonBall Z, but I now see what the folds are for. The shadows under the lines should be above them, if you are using the reference picture above. As you can see, there was little shading/highlighting under the folds, most of it was overtop of them. But on your image, there is alot of shading under the folds, and very little (If any?) overtop of them. Now that I'm taking a good look at it, I'm not all that fond of DBZ drawings. But if thats what you were aiming for, I guess you did a pretty good job :)

Guest Deximus
hehe looks like he hasnt shaved in a while :D very nice linework shading could use improvement, instead of perhaps only using a black brush "assumption" you could shade wif different shades of a colour such as a yellow for his hair

youmakemesik
I'm very doubtful about him drawing that, being his 'first' pixel sig, unless ofcourse he drew pre-liminary sketches on paper...

Keiphus
Enlighten me as to how this has your own "twist." Damn if I hear that phrase again; well let's just pray I don't.

If he says it's his first try at this style, then I'd asume he was talking about the pixel'ing... I'm not gonna research his artistic history before posting, and I, unlike you, don't know much about his definiton of a 'style' or his past 'styles'. teenageloser33
how come all pixel's have to be compared to TJ... just because you all think he's the best, that very stereotypical setting standards compared to someone elses work. You need to rate on how you feel it looks not compare to someone elses work.
neo_bahumat
traced?, if i traced it, dont ya think ive had added a background or somin lol, ive watched dbz for long enough and drawn it in non-pixel style for ages now oh and the twist is the fact ive never seen anything like it, at least in my time here, all i see is repatative rs crap also id say my style was totally different to TJ or wotever u call him, mainly coz i have a life outside ms paint and cant be assed to spend 5-7 hours ona sig thx for backing me up jake m8 :D
