The Goal

 

I achieved 85 fletching last year, and since then I have dropped the skill. But I am back, and ready for that skill cape! I am creating this blog style goal thread to help keep my sanity as I fletch and fletch and fletch some more.

 

 

 

99 or bust!

 

 

 

What will it take?

 

I have decided on making Yew Longbows, as I will make a nice profit (later) off of them.

 

 

 

For 99 Fletching

 

I need 9,733,244 xp

Buying at 190gp per string and 300 per Yew Log, it will cost about 31,795,610 gp.

 

 

 

Selling at 600 per Yew Longbow (S), I will end up with 38,933,400 gp.

Dang 64K Yew Longs, good luck. I have 99 Fletching and I find it hard to believe that I fletched that much.

when i get the logs for 99 fletch (cut yew logs myself) ill go for 99 fletch

Fletching, is the worst skill ever.

The cutting is going fine as I can do other things (for instance I am cutting right now). It's the stringing that will be fast, but lots of clicking.

Ah, yes. I still have 8.9k more logs to cut, then I start to string.

 

 

 

Oh, and if anyone can tell me how to string fast... please do. I've read a couple things, but it doesn't make sense... or maybe I was doing something wrong, lol.

 

 

 

Anyways, I'm cutting at W132 Yanille (Fletching Guild), but I will most likely switch to CW to string, because it's a one-click bank. The conversation at the Fletching Guild for cutting is nice.

 

 

 

Also, after I finish the 20k yew bows, I may switch to magic longs because I am more interested in speed than profit at the moment (I'd take time to do new calculations).

 

 

 

Also I took last night off from Fletching to do the new quest and take care of some things in real life.
