Artificial_Doom_Flavor
If I pked someone and left the items there, would it be ok for me to get on an alt account and pick up the items? Or would that be considered a form of illegal interaction between the accounts? Still enjoying RuneScape?
aoe325
You mean giving items to someone that accept to be killed for you to loot them on another account? If so, yes. Its illegal since you want to transfer items. I cant say they will ever catch you but it's still against the rules. If you mean go pk, kill someone and rush there with another account.. Well I dont see why you would want to do that.. :?: :D Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.

Deacon
i know this is offtopic, but seriously - i don't get it. this isn't the first thread of this kind that i've seen here and i keep wondering: what's with all the nitpicking and searching for loopholes in the rules? isn't it OBVIOUS that the intent of the rules is that when you make an account, that account has to "make it" in RS on his own - without help from any of your other accounts? :shame: really, all these attempts at circumventing the rules while keeping a thin semblance of compliance are just attempts at giving your new account an unfair advantage - and i believe that if you can't play successfully without such an unfair adantage, then runescape is obviously too hard for you and you shoud go back to playing minesweeper and solitaire  *puts on asbestos pants* flame away. The_Dragon_Reborn
Rules were meant to be broken Orison. <--- Famous saying that. My thought on that matter is thats not how it works in the real world is it? In the real world, someone with a rich daddy doesn't have to make it on his own. He has someone to give him money. Thats my two cents anyways. ON TOPIC: As far as RuneScape rules go, I think you may have found a loophole. As long as the account that did the killing doesn't pick up the items, then I think your alright. ~~Let The Dragon ride again, on the winds of time~~I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet. darkblade986
To be perfectly honest, I don't see why it would be against the rules. Can't give 100% guarantee that this is true, but as far as I can tell the kill gives you "first dibs" to his items, and it's your right to refuse to take them and let them disappear. If someone else decides to take these items then, you've given up the right to them and there's no rule breaking. In short, since you never took your prize, you never became owner of them, and therefore you haven't traded between accounts. However, before you even consider trying this, send a message to Customer Support, because I'm sure seeing a new level 3 account pick up quite a hefty drop would raise suspicions... don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat

IGotGrapes
Depending on how much you're planning on getting off of 1 kill, you could probably set your new char up w/ 1m in 3 days. I've had my staker for 2 days and I've already got 650k, he's lvl 3 w/ 40 mining and smithing. That's all it takes, mine iron to 40 mining, smith it w/ rings of forging and then sell the bars. After you sell the bars, buy more ore and repeat. This'll double your money, and once you get up to about 700k, start merching, that's where I'm stuck at though =)
smobo
I would say it's a form of drop trading. Cause when you kill someone (or something) you pretty much own the drops. So it's almost like a drop trade between accounts, without the droping part. One of your accounts is working for the other one, so they are interacting. Got his first skill cape April 7th 2009, at lv 121+12 cb and 2000 total

Your accounts are meant to be seperate, this would be infringing on that rule.
IGotGrapes
but wouldn't it be *like* seeing a drop party, and instead of reaping the benefits on your main, getting on a pure. all it really is is someone dropping their armor(against their will w/e) and him saying he just dropped all of his armor, let me get on my lvl 3. Doomster
Very grey area. If you see someone fall to a monster or random, then no problem, the pile is anybodys and good luck if, say, your scout account is also close enough to collect it, or if your scout sees tha action, and you send your main for the take. If you made the kill, then you do have first dibs
ugotnothin
its not a gray area at all. they can't interact. And since one of your characters killed the player and obtained, and owned the drops from the player it's trading. And therefore against the rules.
