turk555
People say high alchemy is a really good way of earning money, like alchming steel plates. But you can earn more money selling the coal and iron then alcheming. Am i missing something or can u actually make a profit from this for f2p players? mchainmail
It's good money for p2p members exclusively. However, if you are wealthy, it is good cheap mage exp (20k for 65k exp) for f2p. Members can craft their own nats, which makes this process a lot cheaper for them.
Captainkidd
Yes you can, the closest you can would be coming 100gp over the price you bought for an item. The item would be greendragon hide stuff, members can make them so they sell them in bulk. They sell for around 200gp under the alch price, so after you buy the natures your losing 100gp per alch. Which is pretty much the same what members lose (If they buy everything), and its great exp for powering, I suppose fire strike would be cheaper and give more exp in the long run, but if you want quick fast exp then alch is the way to go. I'm Finally 99 mage ^^ (and cooking...) :PSilver24-7 -

wassuploe
What if you make steel plates? well, if you want to make money then you would just sell the steel bars. but some people want to get smithing xp so they make steel plates. then they alch the steel plates to get some of the money back. Doomster
There is little that you can buy to alch at a profit, some players sell steel plates at a bulk price that allows free alching for mage XP. Other than that, it a case of disposing of your own mine & smith output, but yes, selling ores or bars would be better cash but lower skill XP. ProZac_Rehab
f2ps can buy rune meds(10k ea) or daggers (4k ea) and high alch... or as i do, mine ur own coal and iron, smelt and smith to steel pl8 and high alch...this way u don't get as much money(1.2k ea) than if u would just sell the ores, but u get good smithing and mage xp. if u buy the ores or bars, it'll cost u alot RIP my main Xprozaccx. RpgGamer
of course we benefit from high alching stuff. especially rune meds. i personally like to alch steel plates better though. its true you would get more money for the iron + coal, but if you do everything yourself, you get mage exp, money, mining exp, and smithing exp. Thats a lot of benefits if you ask me Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. Anyone who likes logic is incapable of tacos.
