May 18, 200719 yr Do you need 60 magic to even equip it? Because I have 56 magic, and with next to no money (about 20k, =p), I can't afford the last 4 levels. So I was wondering, can I just use an Evil Dave's Stew to boost my magic level to atleast 60, allowing me to do the mini-game. So, can I wear the cape without the required level?
May 18, 200719 yr You need 60 to get in there, so you need 60 to wear it. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
May 18, 200719 yr hey =) you helped me with my question, so i help u. First off, i dont think there is a mage requirement, an if so, the evil stew is risky, it could lower your stats, and then you'l be in what? lv 52 wildy? :| Andyou dont need cash to get mage levels.... im getting from 40, to 55 and all i need is 2k more ess... you can mine it yourself ya know.. sure it takes longer, but its worth it. Hope this helps, =; ps. visity post, i have another question for you :D
May 18, 200719 yr I don't know whether the requirement is a hard 60 or a soft 60 (whether you can boost your stat to get it, that is) but there's one thing you should consider: A mage pot will raise your mage by +4 every time. Ask a friend with high herby. Or go to the kalphite lair and collect some potato cactus. Most herblorists will be willing to trade two cacti per mage pot. On the other hand, if you're too poor to afford to raise your mage, how are you going to afford the bloods required for the mage arena? May 18, 200719 yr the first person who replied was correct you need base lvl 60 to do the mini-game/quest wutever u wanna call it or to make that more clear, you need at least 273,742 xp in your magic skill I've never seen Sixth Sense nor Inception nor many other popular movies and I intend to keep it that way.

May 20, 200719 yr To reinforce what korny said, you do definatly need 60 mage to do the mini game. No pots, pies or stews are going to change this. Whips: 3 Dragon Boots: 15 My 99's: Attack & Cooking Youtube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Goldenjkered
