Okay, I'm f2p and need like 1.3k fire tallys, apart killing fire wizards near the air altar, where else can I get large quantities of them or could someone sell me them?

Dark wizards drop em fairly often, who would want 1.3k tallys anyway?

1.3k fire tiaras

 

 

 

where tiaras cost like 30 ea at general stores where silver crafters sell to.

 

 

 

So fire tiaras are the way to go, provided I have talismans.

Binding tiaras is decent and fast exp but its really hard to get the supplys, you'd spend a month (or longer) getting 1.4k fire tallys as drops...

A tiara (any type) gives the same XP as 5 essence at the same altar.

 

 

 

Except for wearing a blank tiara, carrying a talisman and 27 ess, where doing the talisman is like an extra 4 ess of xp, doing multiple tiaras in a run only works out to 2.5 times essence, as two spaces are used for each.

 

 

 

Body talismans would be even better, especially as body runes are generally not in great demand.

 

 

 

I treat talismans as a bit of free RC XP, but the idea of trying to get them in bulk... too much hassle.

The thing is: you can bind tiara's for runes way above your level.

 

So: just try to get as high tallies as possible, and you get more exp than you would crafting lowlevel runes.

If you go tiaras, one thing you may have to do is compromise... "buying all talsmans".

 

 

 

40 gp a shot for essence - surely it's not back to pre-pure essence levels?

 

 

 

All my RC levels have come from mining a K then RCing a K, and my mage levels from burning up the runes I make.

You're better off just runecrafting Fire runes instead of Fire Tiaras. At least you'll be able to sell off your Fire runes so that you can buy more rune essence to continue training.

Maybe in P2P killing leeches via the fairy-ring abys area is fast.

Go to the fairy ring plane of the abyss, and kill the leeches. They drop all talismans, except for law and death. Get a load of talismans, noted essence, bring pouches if you want to store the unnoted essence and kill. Bank in zanaris, and when you have a load of a specific kind, craft away.

 

 

 

As stated, getting 1.3k of ANY kind is long and tedious.

Don't do it. You'd spend hours getting the talismans. Better take out the good old pick, mine your own essence, and craft airs. Sell the runes for gp, use the gp to either buy essence (30 ea is a fair price) or to save up for other stuff.
