May 21, 200719 yr Hello everyone, I'll be getting a membership soon and I need some advices on what should be the first things I should do. I did a research and the only topic I found didn't really answered my question. - Explore the new areas - Do some easy quests - Work on the new stats - Concentrate on Fletching (since I have to improve my Range) - Work on my stats in the new areas - Herblore to get anti-poison potions - Any suggestions? Here are my stats http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/3788/statshf8.jpg and my combat level is 59 Thank you very much for your help!
May 21, 200719 yr First thing I did was work on the new skills... it was fun to try something completely different. But everyone is different I guess...
May 21, 200719 yr I strongly suggest you do the Tears of Guthix quest. Why? So you can do the Tears of Guthix mini game. If you do not know, the quest will provide free xp in the lowest of your skills. Of course it depends upon how many tears you collect. After you do the quest you should on a weekly basis (to bad you cannot do daily) do the ninigame. Easy xp could not hurt anyone. However you will need the following requirements: 49 fire making, 20 crafting, 20 mining. It is an easy quest. Hope I helped.
May 21, 200719 yr Get cool looking cheap cloths and explore until you get a rough idea of the map. That knowledge becomes extremely useful in many different ways. Barrows drops: Torags pl8, Torgas legs, Guthans chainskirt
May 22, 200719 yr Do druidic ritual quest to get acces to herblore, and fishing contest to use the tunnel underneath white wolf mountain
May 22, 200719 yr You are not pure, so you can use tears of Guthix (no use for 1 defence pures, as it will raise defence. Quest points determine the time you get on the tears, and the level of your lowest skill (until 30), alters the XP value given, so maybe doing a little of everything and a few quests (like Druidic, to open up herblore and get level 3) would be better, before your first tog. I'd go for a bit of everything, but concentrating on area opening and quest requirements.
May 22, 200719 yr Go questing. I had all F2P quests done, and started on the P2P ones. The stat requirements should give you something to train for, provided that you are not a pure. I found it great fun to do all the quests, and they give nice rewards, acces to certain area's like canifis, the Elve lands and so on. Questing makes boredom go away IMO. Explore the new skills, especially agility come in handy as it makes restoring run energy faster. I find it boring, though.....Stay away from construction unless you have piles of money to burn. Thieving and farming can go together, since you can steal from stall/master farmers for seeds. Fletching can be a money maker, but the lower levels are not. You could combine smelting/smithing iron (ring of forging FTW!!!) with making your own iron arrws. ALWAYS, DO NOT FORGET!!!! to have fun! Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
