May 21, 200719 yr Hello everyone, this used to be a thread about State of Origin i just converted it to a topic about general NRL, post about your team and the weekly games and pretty much anything NRL Basically i'm a die hard panthers fan for life because they are my home towns team and yeah i have supported them my whole life but my 2nd favorite team is the sharks they can win in place of the panthers :D

May 22, 200719 yr Hey, us Poms like it too :P It's actually one of the highlights of my year. The NRL is such a better standard than the Super League here, and I never watch league at all, being a union man, except for the State of Origin. Every single series is an epic. The quality is in incredible, the atmosphere, tension, it's all fantastic. So long as the reds have Lockyer, I'd never rule them out. He may not be the fastest, strongest, best passer or kicker, but he damn well wins games. QUEENSLAND!! IT'S A MIRACLE!!! (What a game!) This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

May 22, 200719 yr QUEENSLANDER!!! Thurston + Lockyer will carve up. I just don't see Braith Anasta (hopeless) and Jarred Mullen doing anything special for NSW. Also I would've liked to see Matty Bowen in the QLD instead of Hunt. Bowen and Thurston have a great combination together. I watch the English Super Leauge (go St. Helens!) every now and then on Fox Sports (cable) over here, so I was just wondering if its the same there? Oh and NSW to win by 4. It'll be a close game as usual but NSW forwards will be too strong! And we've got Hindmarsh! Though I hope he doesn't get too over-worked ... Parra needs him on Monday - badly lol >> Oh and on a side note the Reds is the Rugby Union team of Queensland... The League Team is called the Maroons ;)
