It would be nice for Jagex to create a "group" system where me and my friends could do quests and share drops together. Infact, this might encourage teamwork in the game and prevent so much of the flaming and... dare I say: "newbish" behaviour.

They would have to actually make good drops every drop for this to work. Otherwise it would be pointless.

 

 

 

Well. It would make things like Kalphite Queen'ing and killing other high level monsters in groups easier, because people wouldn't be able to just run away with all the good loot when they find it - leaving their teammate to become annoyed.

 

 

 

Might also help wilderness fights. To help everyone get a fair share of all the leftovers.

I am the kind of guy that sometimes goes doing something with mates. But I don't keep up with things that long and I do the weirdest stuff. Doing farming rounds now and brewing my own beer ;)

 

 

 

So I always make friends on the spot. Way easier then dragging my friends with me to the weirdest places. I do often however go with others or persuede them to do soemthing together \

i really dont like mandatory team quests. so much frustration from heroes etc trying to find someone to help me. I quite like the way WoW's team option works where you can get someone to help if the area/dungeon is too high lvled to solo.

Wow, a lot of people really don't understand the point of this thread at all. I'm really not asking if you like to do things alone...I'm more trying to point out the fact that Jagex seems to have the wrong idea here. You shouldn't make updates based on what people do, but what they WANT to do.

However what I find surprising is that 33% of the poll voters today said they never pk. That's higher than I would expect (compared to the "i don't skill" well not much else to do and the "I don't do quests", i must admit I expected more from that one)

I agree with you, I think they should have asked what the players want, as people would tend to do the more convenient things, it could lead to certain parts of the game being neglected, even if that certain aspect of the game could become great with just a little improvement..

Off Topic: Training i do with friends most of the time, pking.. 50/50, as for quests.. im a lone ranger, but id like that to change, they should introduce the team Option cuz its really annoying to have to wait on a friend if they fall behind suring a quest you're both doing together..

Only about 5 real friends, 3 of whom have quit. The only quests where I MIGHT have friends along are DT, and those old partner quests. The game simply isn't organized as a group game, clans are based out of a completely player run system, the closest thing we have are the team minigames, where (With the exception of TB flowers) most people go solo ANYWAYS, and do little for the good of the team. Frankly, I think that it's just too much work for the GB&JT to be interested in making RS more group based, when they have so many problems to deal with. And I honestly do most of my work solo, simply because I don't like people, most of whom tend to be shallow, short-sighted morons.
