Yippe-skippee. what about the toher funny examines? the whip has a ratehr obvious one, too; it should say something like, "whip it good" or "you must whip it" , like the song, 'whip it" by Devo. Jagex has taken ideas from other outside influences (Monty Python and Edgar Allan poe allusions), so why not this? i personaly think it would make the whip a lot more fun, even if it is just the examine. How dare jagex try to make the players happy with new quests and the long awaited updates the varrok this month while neglecting the abby whip examine, they are so selfish. Really If you get upset over such a little thing like that i've got news for you. Think of my very thread in this very forum; it's about crafting wooden shields for the most part. That's a little thing; but it adds a sense of completion and diversity to the game. @Flamebade => Getting sued? Didn't you read the post? JaGEx has included references to Monty Python and Edgar Allen Poe, among others, without legal issues (as far as we know). I'm sure that the blokes at JaGEx towers are smart enough to obtain legal permission before using things of the such. But as for the suggestion now.. I think it'd be a nice little addition to have that! I'm sure many have thought about it before but never spoken up. I wonder how many people would get the allusion there, however.. For me, randomly different examines each time may work well but it is heavy work on Jagex's part. Two Handed Swords > A two handed sword Pickaxes > Used for mining Blurite Sword > A Faladian Knight's sword Rune Arrows > Arrows with Rune Heads Slayer Staff > An old and magical stick. Get my point? They all are sucky examines, deal with it not true. the barrelchest anchor examine says, 'this is likely to put my back out", not something like, "a large anchor" or something. so the whip doesnt have to have an idnetifieng examine like that.
