The system is by far the most powerful, and the BlueRay drive is an awesome feature with the eye on the future. Not only for movie watching, but also for games (I pointed this out earlier, but everybody said that the disc size didn't really matter?). You're all writing the PS3 off way too soon. Sorry Bubs, I'm not a fan-boy, I'm just looking at it realistically. FAR more powerful, I think not.... The 360 and the Ps3 have pretty identical specs. So why we ask is the Ps3 more expensive? No reason what so ever... 360, cheaper, better game support and controllers that won't take someone's eyes out....

The 360 has more 'mature' titles, like Halo 3 and Gears of War. The ps3 only has Oblivion (which the 360 has), Resistance, and is about to have Assassin's creed (which is coming to the 360 also). The 360 is also about $100 cheaper for the BEST version, since Sony is cutting back on the $500 model. The 360 already has HDMI also..only the Elite, but still. Not to mention XBL. From what I heard, a 40 man match in resistance is..good..but laggy. From what I've heard, the Ps3 cannot handle it's 'full potential'. As for CPU, it may be a lot more powerful..but Sony hasn't really put it into good use yet (just look at the current library). And you KNOW if the last gen console is outselling your current gen, there's something wrong. Sony has the potential to make the Ps3 as great as the Ps2..but not if they don't make some major improvements.

June 6, 200719 yr I think theworst mistake sony made was putting the blue-ray in it and not ahve a choice to buy it without. The reason for this is because nobody wants to pay $200 more for a little bit better quality picture then a regular dvd.... If the Xbox360 included a Hi def dvd player then it would be the same price as the Ps3. The external Hd Dvd player is $200 more. I really don't think the Ps3 will win the console wars.

Super Mario 64 was the first fully 3d game, even looking at it now, its better graphics than say Tekken 3, despite Mario's cartoony look. Nintendo have also been in the console busness for longer, FFI, console NES. So for me Nintendo are better as they know what they are doing, heck a Nintendo 64 with a 1p coin in it (don't ask how) ran better than my Slimline PS2 at first, it overheated lol. And I've had no problems with my Wii, well except disconnecting during an online game of Mario Charged Stirkers Football, but that happened on Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 online on PS2.
