May 30, 200719 yr The fact is that, as a level 120+ player, I feel that less than 10% of the updates are aimed at a player of my level. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if you are right about this. But what percentage of players are 120+ players? Probably fewer than 10%. Jagex has a very tough job in trying to make everyone happy. The fact is that they simply cannot reasonably be expected to expend the huge resoures required to add features to the game that only a few people can use. When they create something like the new museum, EVERYBODY can use it. You think it's too newb for you, so you won't try it. Fine. But if they create a level 1000 monster, very few people can even attempt that. I'm sure that if too many stat grinders start getting bored with the game and canceling their memberships, they'll do something for you. Look at it this way . . . it could be worse -- you could be Zezima. Here's something that surprises me, and this applies to players across the board. Why is it that so many people require new content all the time? Honestly, if Jagex did one update per quarter, that would be enough for me. There's tons to do in this game, and that applies to all levels.
May 30, 200719 yr Ehhh, didn't we got something between a minigame and a quest with the Varrock museum update? What are you talking about? so I don't have an opnion about this update yet. How on earth could you say then that a goodquest or a fun would be better? Seeing the opinionbased words good and fun, you'd almost start to think that you had an opinion there. Are you a boy or a girl? Muggi, I am a boy. No idea why you asked though. And I wasn't talking about this update in particular, I was talking about updates in general. The boat hasn't been completed yet (no reward) so this is just another update that kept me entertained for an hour but will never draw my interest again. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
May 30, 200719 yr Does RS have 2000+ quests, dungeons that take hours to play, and several classes and races? And does RS let you play multiple characters with the same membership? Is WoW a java based game that isn't on a cd and has thus limited space? don't think so. Comparing WoW and RS is like comparing apples and oranges, and should not be done on this thread. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it

May 30, 200719 yr Well...just got all my 153 kudos... I teled right next to the barge ship at the digsite and logged. Now all I have to do now is wait.
May 31, 200719 yr The bottom line still stands. Grafics were voted as the least desireable feature in an area. Maybe Jagex is running out of ideas except for quests and grafics, or maybe they really have no intentions of ever using poll results (How long as the Lone Ranger poll been up now?). Can you stop using that poll as evidence? several people ahven ow proved it to be completely useless. and on another not, you were looking at the completely wrong poll according to this, graphics beat both mini games and quests. But if you read my earlier post, you would have known that even this poll is not valid enough to be evidence. Like I already said, if you let the free players vote as well, you would see a big difference in results. How about this- make a suggestion for the next tipit poll, asking: "how much did you like the recent update to varrock?" PS: notice the fact that the number of people that voted in the poll I provided is 71k, versus over 1 million members, and over 7million free players. Lastfm
May 31, 200719 yr Okay, i've done everything in the muesuem got 153 kudos and i didnt get the 10k xp lamp. What am I missing?
May 31, 200719 yr PS: notice the fact that the number of people that voted in the poll I provided is 71k, versus over 1 million members, and over 7million free players. So Jagex shouldn't make updates based on polls? Simply because the low voter turnout? In that case, hell, lets just ditch the polls. They are there for a reason: to determine the type of updates Jagex should be producing. Thats why Jagex created them, and thats why they are there, correct? If I am wrong, I apologize, but I'm nearly certain thats the reason Jagex polls us, or so they say. Okay...now that we have that established...lets take a look at the polls. Now there are two polls that show graphics are of low priority to the RS players (judged on the % of people in the poll, which, NEWSFLASH: THATS HOW POLLS WORK...if a majority of a population had to vote in a poll for it to be considered "official" then there would be no polls to EVER fit that criteria; even in the last US election, less than half of the elligible voters actually voted) But, continuing on...we can now see that two of the official RS polls had results that showed grafics are not the preferred type of update for a majority of players. What type of updates are popping up more and more frequently? Graphics. There's really nothing to disagree with here, and nothing that you should have trouble understanding. Poll gets taken, Jagex sees results, then Jagex produces updates that are opposite to the polls. End of story. Thats the problem, thats why I'm mad. In fact, thank you for that picture. That picture further proves my point and gives me more reason to be getting fed up with Jagex. What came today? A graphical update and some mini-game-quest thing. What is the 3 least favorite updates? Graphics, mini-games, and quests. We also missed an update last week. I used to be happy with just quantity as opposed to quality, and I really hope there is a good reason that the update was missed last week; I REALLY hope we didn't miss last week's update for this. Something else for you to think about: Sure, a very low population of people vote in these polls, but who do you think is voting? Probably the people who care the most about the game and the people who really take the time to try and get the game moving in a positive direction. I vote in every poll, and thats probably another reason that I am so disappointed in general about the direction this game has begun to head. Do you vote? Need assistance in any of these skills? June 19, 200719 yr I just noticed the rack of horseshoes on the wall of Horvik's anvil house. Except they aren't called horseshoes, they are called "metal pieces." When you examine them, they say "These would make fine shoes for... um... unicorns."
