flava0falcon
ok i've got an idea you cant get for example steel scimmy if you put in bronze platebody...i mean make it so you cant get somethign really valueable for something not valueable at all...that idea solves the many problems this idea had in the first place but then there is no point in it :-k :-k support new ghostly stuff here.I see RuneScape slowly turning into a sadistic version of WoW..signature your as this use backwards this read to enough smart were you If
RayOxide
Flava, you make good ideas. If someone doesn't deposit something, theyget something, (General Store Value) 0 - 100, then 100 - 200, etc, etc! I dont need a siggy no moar.
drapit
Wow. Lets expect nothing more than tinderboxes, bronze shields, ashes, bones and other random junk in it.
flava0falcon
Wow. Lets expect nothing more than tinderboxes, bronze shields, ashes, bones and other random junk in it.thats exactly what i was thinking of! thats why i said this idea is stupid because no one is going to put a phat there EVER and probably the best thing you can get which will be very VERY rare is maybe....rune med? and even then its by general store value so if you want a rune med you will need something that sells in general stores for 10-20k -.- support new ghostly stuff here.I see RuneScape slowly turning into a sadistic version of WoW..signature your as this use backwards this read to enough smart were you If

kelbri
I really am starting to wonder about this suggestion. The definition of a wishing well is that you throw in your coin, and make a wish. You don't throw in a penny, and then go and take a coin out, hopping that you'll get a quarter :shame: . Although I do like the idea of this throw and swap, why not change the whole thought of this wishing well idea??? What if, when you throw something in, you have something like a 1:500 chance of getting a random event, ie: your wish. You only get to throw one thing a day into the well, and the random event would be... well, random. So throw in a phat if you want, you can't get it back, and you can't get a green mask instead of it. You may just get a mime event though... Infi
Party Pete's FTW. Also, there is tons of money in the game, so Jagex has absolutely no reason to add own items. All we will see is tinderboxes, ashes, and buttons. >_> 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer
aquariusman
Maybe you put something in, and whatever it's high alch value, you get something with a close low or high alch value? You can only use it once a day, and it doesn't depend on other items that are put in, but what you put in. You put in something worth 10k high alch, you get ANY item with a high or low alch value of 9-11k. This means that the unfortunate idiot who puts his phat in expecting to get a phat worth more will get a bunch of ashes. He would deserve that however, so no problem there. But also that could mean that some lucky person could slowly build up from item value to item value through sheer luck (Put in ashes, get bronze axe, put in bronze axe, get bronze plate, put in bronze plate, get iron short, etc.,). That's what the 1 time a day rule would be for. Holiday drops, such as phats, would only be available if you dropped another holiday item in, however you wouldn't be limited to getting a holiday item. Again, little Johnny gets that smart idea to drop his santa in and get a phat. *Drops in* Johnny would right about now start of in some mad rant to Jagex, saying that he didn't get his P hat. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience. NJE03
I like the idea overall. But I was thinking perhaps instead of having players throw items in, what if they could just gather a random item from it even if no-one put it in (Basically what aquariusman said). 10 chances per day seems fair enough. 31 prayer requirement for Monastery. I think that you can only put in say 10 items a day and "withdraw" 10 items every day. The requirements to use the wishing well (possibly in Rimmington?) are some rope, a bucket, and an extra item to throw in. You can not put in stackable items, only ones that can be noted I love the whole bucket/rope thing to gather the items.
