the random you get depends on the account?

Actually, a Jagex Mod told me that things can be done to improve the chances of getting random events, and things that can be done to lower random event chances. I asked him what, and he said he wasn't allowed to give out that information. Go figure. But still, there goes any idea that "a random is a random", and that it just flat out happens randomly.

 

But yes, depending on what you do, one account can get 100 randoms in a day and another one can get 0.

They are still random. "Improved chances" doesn't mean "more random events" necessarily. They are random because you have no idea when they will come.

what im saying is not that 1 account will not and can't get a certain random event but that the odds of getting a sandwich lady for example are higher than combat based random event (such as rock golems) in 1 account while at the other it will be the other way around

yep! and the reason is that there is no other name that fits as good! BUT many have claimed its not just random and you can do diffrent stuff to get a random and i think it does have something to do with when you make your account or what it wears and many other things...a friend said a j mod claimed randoms are not just "randoms" and that it has to do with various things your account has experienced or something similar to that...so dont you tell me "randoms are RANDOM" because thats not true!

Possiblly, as cutting yews in Edgeville world 20 gets no where near as many randoms as cutting yews in Edgeville world 1.

actualy it has almost been proven that staying in the same place and doing the same thing attracts randoms (like cutting yews behind varrock palace) and as i said i think you are more likely to get 1 random than another in 1 account while at the other you are more likely to get the 2nd 1

well to tell you the truth i wa able to almost prove im right and on the other hand there is you...you say its random and thats it :? and i really think randoms has something to do with statistics and not purely random luck...how do you explain that almost every 3rd-4th teleport i have i get that odd eye thingy while on my other account i could teleport 50 times without it? how do you explain i got the maze on the other account 3 times in 1 day and a record of 14 times in 8 days while my main got it twice in 1 year?

Randoms are NOT random, from my perspective. If you think getting 73163 trillion random events while cooking and none while shearing sheep is just a coincidence, then you can ask Jagex if your right.

people dont get my point! im not saying you CANT get a certain random in 1 account im saying you are MORE LIKELY to get it on 1 account than the other! and im not the only 1 who have experienced such things! i cant teleport 2 times on my main without getting the teleportion thing where you have to pick the wrong eye...but i only get that once in a few months in another account! dont get me started about the random is rnadom thing because you can be sure its not just "random" and that there is something of a reason for getting a certain random (and im not saying for example just mining and getting rock golem)

well...i had long ago an account with 54 prayer and didnt get full zombie (needed mask and zombie mask) and on another account i made i got full zombie and both emotes at level 18 prayer apart from that i lost full mime on my main (coz i was skulled) and got it back 3 hours later (on those 3 hours i got it serveral times) and i got full camo on the account with 54 prayer about 3 days after i made it and only started getting camo a year after i made my main (no have all random outfits :D ) so if im right...diffrent accounts get diffrent randoms more often than others...post if something similar happend to you or if you think im right/wrong...etc..

lvl 18 prayer gets zmobie randoms.

 

Do you understand statistics and probabilitties at all?,I flip 6 coins, and get all heads(possible), you flip 6 coins and get all tails(possible), would that be irrefuttable proof that I flip more heads and you tails more heads?

 

 

 

It has to be lots and lots of lvl 54 prayers getting lots of camos and little to none of zombies and

 

lots and lots of lvl 18 prayers getting lots of zombies and little to none ofcamos for it to be actuall proof

 

 

 

You example is just an example of the randomness of randoms, just an example of a deviation in the system, not real evidence.
