Well for the first time I tried doing this vector shiz.

Personally I liked how it turned out but it's not as good as other I have seen i.e needs more detailed.

 

 

 

Obvious mistake:- The Ear, Hair and the edges.

 

 

 

I like doing this, it's quite easy but requires a lot of time, I probably spent like .. 1 and 1/2 hours on this lol.

 

 

 

I look foward to doing more and improving myself.

Tried to add more colours and shiz. Just messed up on the Lipzz.

Needs to be considerably more smoother.

 

 

 

 

 

It could also benefit by the block colours (Hair, Skin etc..) to be broken up by different shades.

 

 

 

Search dA for Vector.

 

 

 

I'm sure you're familiar with what experienced vector art looks like.

Did you do it by a tut? I'd say look up a few more tutes and do them a couple times with different pictures.

just add a bunch of layers, cause its lacking a lot of shading

This one took like 3 hours =\ I tried to add more shading and shiz but I don't think I'm really food at the face ..

 

 

 

Righto, I'm going to start doing hair now. I really am impatient lol, and I've read that to do hair it's like doing it by each color strand of hair :uhh:

 

 

 

Tomorrow I'm going to start an doing one of a different person, someone without black hair.

Number one looks good, except the "obvious" mistakes :-$

 

 

 

On #2 the lips seem to big, or they look like one, i would reccomend make them smaller or putter a darker color in between them

You must use thy pen tool wisely. Some edges are looking sharp but I <3 your the pic with the background colours <3
