Jagex placed a fix for the mystic top long ago and even though the whip and mystic top both alch for same amount, the whip protects over the mystic top. This was to stop the scammers/pkers. The d long hi alchs for less than the whip.

June 7, 200719 yr rune plate protects over a whip(so i heard) a whip only hi alchs for 40k so ther isnt much that it will protect over my conclusion: dont go into wildy with anything else except a whip lol

June 7, 200719 yr According to people who posted before, Abby Whip protects over Mystic top due to the amount of scams tried with it before. But, Dragon Battleaxe would protect over Whip.
