As some of you may know, ive gotten pretty good in photoshop in the past bit, and i was bored tonight, so i started messin around, and i made this pic, its not the great nor that bad just thought i would share it :P tell me what you think, and i did not put much time into it at all really

Rofl, thanks, that means alot man.. but its not really that amazing.. took only a few mins... the best thing, i have ever made, i think, is my sig, and lots of people are way better than me

misunderstood your post, my bad realized later.

 

Its alright, it seems just a regular brushed bg with just repeating patterns no real detail. You should have atleast somehow blended the guy into the background

as i said, i put no effort, and it is blended, just the opacity is on to strong... but meh

Aside from the fact that the image you pasted on top takes up something like half of the actual work all it is is random brushing. Anyone can open up photoshop, grab their favorite brush and go wild.

yeah probably one of the best color choices that i have ever seen

 

 

 

Now aside from that I agree with nadril abit... Thre isnt a light source though it could use one... And alot of random brushing...

 

 

 

it fits really well and looks quite decent but overall it doesn't take much work

dont get angry everyone is agreeing with you. we are just point out things that you can improve, ie blending, some light source perhaps. ALthough the render does look cool, the background really doesn't.
