I think the sequel should be... The Day of the Monkeys.

The whole black Runescape void would turn green and flash. Everyone would rush to log in and look at the bright happy colours. Then the next day they would wake up ... blind! So all they would see is a black box. The monkeys would then take advantage of this and kill everyone they see. Everyone would hear the shrieking, howling and chattering getting closer before they get devoured alive.

Requirements: None, and it is compulsory to take part in.

Rewards: Well, for the people that didn't look at the flashing green lights, they would find an empty, desolate landscape full of the cries of the dying. However there would be an abundance of free stuff.

:) :)

All of us, or at least most of us, have seen the topics and discussions about a new Monkey Madness Quest. If you have not heard about it, it is about this room:

newclue4mu1.png

Since we cannot get into this room, there have been many speculations as to what is in there. I for one, happen to believe that that is some sort of sanctuary (like in a church) where a holy person gives a sermon of some sort. I also believe that this a violent religion, as there is a monkey skull in there ( in photo 1). Where would they sacrifice these monkeys? Why, in here of course!

newcluewv1.png

See the hot rock? (the Examine is in my chat box). This place is accessed by going down through the trapdoor in the temple, going down the ramp on either side of the room, and then going towards the "Exit" which is marked red on the map. Whenever you try to go in there, the "Hot Rocks" burn your feet. ( I smell good dharoking on those gorillas upstairs eh?). Maybe in the next quest, we will get heat resistant clothing/greegree! Maybe made out of the same stuff that anti dragon shield are made of...

Well, your asking, this is all fine and dandy, but how do the monkeys get into the worship area if there is no door? Well, I have found an answer to that too. First go out of the temple, and into a small tower with a ladder. go up the two ladders, and you will be in a small jail cell.

newclue3ai6.png

Pick the lock and follow the bamboo walkways until you get to another ladder. go down it, then another one, and you will be in a room with a door, a balcony-sort of thing looking out onto the market and a trapdoor.

newclue2id5.png

Both the Trapdoor and the other Door are locked. I think that the monkeys simply all go in at once, when someone (or somemonkey) opens the door.

What do all these photos mean? I think that the next quest in the MM storyline will be about Marimbo, the monkey god. Maybe the start point could be the Monkey Priest up the stairs by the altar? Maybe we will have to fight a reincarnation of him :ohnoes:. Hopefully we will get a new set of prayers  ! (Monkey prayers? protect from bad bananas ftw! \' ).

PS:This imformation may have been posted before, but I have not seen it. So I do apologze for teh disconvenience if this annoys you.

That hot rock in the first picture is used in rfd to cook a giant snake stuffed with special monkey nuts, not to sacrafice monkeys. Other than that, I must say that the tower you found is quite amazing, I have never known or seen it before.

I think I can explain all these pictures ('cept for the skull one, 'coure). That "trapdoor" you found is all backwards. In a small shack, near the market (but not the one with the trapdoor) there is a crate, that when searched, dumps you into an area filled with crates underground.

Walk through this tunnel filled with spiders, and you'll find a rope. Climp up said rope, and you'll be in the building you mentioned.

All the pathways you mentioned are all an escape route out from the said underground section, taking you into the Temple of Marimbo so you can get out.

To the people saying it's hard:No it's not.. pures without 43 prayer, have 1 defence, and low hp do it all the time... Please tell me how that is hard. It takes time and lots of antipoison potions. If I remember correctly I used 1 shark on the boss, at lvl 80 with 53 range (I ranged it).

NOBODY needs 43 prayer to do it, everyone noobs it and ranges the boss. but those pures do have 43+ prayer when they do it. the hard part of the quest is the actual quest not the boss. now if they just took away those safe spots...

Die MONKEY!!

Thats A good one  As for one name from the top of my head Monkey Masters. It'd be about you and a group of people trying to stop some evil clan from destroying all of Ape Atoll. And The reward would be some exp in levels of your choice, a monkey pie that heals 20 ea bite(Also Ability to make them) Last but not least an article of jewelery that increases the power when wielding D-Scim. A bit too much :?
