June 22, 200719 yr I went to a camp a few years ago, and there was this course in which we used GameMaker to make games. Afterwards, I downloaded it onto my computer, and I have a few good games. I haven't done anything complicated, and I haven't done anything in a year or two. Anyways, yes, it was a nice program. There are obviously better game-making programs, but it's one of the best for free. Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu.

June 24, 200719 yr I want to make video games someday as a career, but before I start looking into college, I would like to get in some home practice. I just have no idea where to start.. I preferably want to be a modder that designs maps. But its hard to find the discipline to train myself working with moddeling programs hours on end. And especially when you cannot test them! Can anyone help? ~Defender~ If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me

June 25, 200719 yr I've been using gamemaker for years. 3D gameplay is possible, and with dll's you can make online play. My friend who also uses Gamemaker is working on an online fps that is not unlike quake. you know there is a place called outside, better graphics 100% pvp and no fee to play :-w
June 25, 200719 yr I downloaded it more than a year ago. I thought it would be easy to make games with, but it's actually really complicated. You need to be a good programmer with good skills. :? No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
