Unfortunately, after some time, Project Onyx 2.0 wore out its welcome and Project Onyx was plunged into page 5 of General Discussion. Well, Project Onyx is back, with 4.0, and a new purpose. I think we can all agree that Runescape isn't the best it could be, community wise. But nothing is stopping us from changing it for the better, except for the many topics clogging General Discussion complaining just how bad it is. Project Onyx isn't just a RS portal anymore. We're changing RS for the better. Welcome to the new Project Onyx. Welcome to Gielinor - revised. Find out how daily steps could help change RS. Problem: Macroers. Answer: Reporting/Autoer Killing Appearing in massive groups everywhere around RS, sporting the default bald head and clothing, macroers and autoers are seriously ruining the game more than anything else. What you can do is report them, and then check out these guides on how to take out each autoer yourselves, one by one. Answer: Kindness/Ignorance While we can't really do anything about this, we must still learn how to ignore it (perfect guide for this, "A guide to noobs, beggars, jerks, and how to handle them" by Ash6110). If a player does break a rule while annoying you, you should first ask them to calm down, but if they don't, you might as well report them. In the mean time, while I shouldn't be leaking any info on the new services, I must say theres much good to come. I wish I could of released the services with 3.0.1, but I had to release the new coding system first (and to show off the 3.0 logo :)) before releasing them (and, most of them aren't completed finished yet). Tick, tick, tick... The clock is ticking folks, and the last couple weeks of our sacred summer is flying away. It seemed this year that summer went so fast, and just flew by. I hardly got anything done, just 51 levels of hunter out of 99... However, Jagex isn't going to let the dreadful month of summer steal us from Runescape. Clan support? The long awaited feature is finally coming out. And why not throw in some more haircuts (please no afros or emo styles :D) and 'offical worlds' for mini-games? I'm sure set to look forward to something this month! Do you ever even stop to think of the work that goes into the things? My intention isn't to flame, but, I dunno. It just seems a bit harsh to just shoot down somebody who works hard for something without even considering giving it a chance to evolve or prove itself :? Of course, to each their own, I suppose. If you think it's ridiculous, that's what you think. So far, pretty much every single person likes Project Onyx, and the GT and OT have plenty of readers.
