Apparently not, as the destroy message says you only need to talk to the trainer if you lose it. -

Am I the only one who immediately thought "Naruto" when I read this? -
I'd say my biggest regret was when I was a little kid, and I was obsessed with power rangers, I crank called someone and told them to board a space ship that existed in the power rangers universe. I was an idiotic 4 year old.

Is anyone upset with this update? I think this may be history in the making! -

Why does the hide tag say "3rd edition"?! -
I'm gonna sum up graphical updates in a nut-shell: 1. They make things pretty 2. People like the prettiness and join 3. Their money allows for more and better updates 4. ... 5. PROFIT!!!!

I imagine it is going to have something of SOME value, seeing as it is actually being slightly hyped up. It could be something like a mist battlestaff, making it the first combination battlestaff to give infinite air runes.

Wow, lots of interesting information. I'm a bit annoyed that my letter to Ivan Strom and/or Reldo concerning Vanstrom's possible lineage (a bit that I thought up using Ivan Strom's name as an anagram, which was originally believed by members of WOMDA (we're a bunch of nerds trying to get inside jagex's head) to be a message of I Vanstrom, but I instead believe to mean Vanstrom I, with the I being a roman numeral). -

I like this guy, almost as much as I like the Dunkin Donuts girl that gives me twice the amount of donuts and munchkins that I pay for. This just goes to show that you actually put technological experts into a position of power in a technological company (i.e. gaming) rather than the idiot who helps them pay for it (Iddison was that paypal guy, right?). This guy is even a better salesman than the old guy, and that was his job! -
30th April 2009 - New Dwarf Quest: Diary 3

I'm really liking the DD's. They are at least as long as an average BTS was, but they focus on one thing, allowing for more insight in that one thing. It really helps us to understand how things are going with a certain project. And yes, I agree with one of the people above that one of the last 2 will have a dragon pickaxe. -
The "feel" of armor these days...
firsttsurugi replied to Myweponsg00d's topic in General Discussion
I was actually thinking that they could borrow their own slayer helm concept of taking items and combining them to make better items by taking the chainmail and platemail and combining them together. And I like the [bleep]es. :o :ohnoes:  -

I've always been on the strategic side of items, not caring for looks or price but rather the stats, but I do see what you guys are saying. The appearances of many of these items are way too outdated, and some appearances are just illogical, even for a video game. Now, if they gave some explanation for the Bandos chest and Verac's, such as being magically enchanted, then it would be less illogical, but they should make it so that the stats actually make sense. -

Is the Grandmaster quest going to be Fremmy?
firsttsurugi replied to dannyb103's topic in General Discussion
Well, they said it is going to take a really, really long time to make another elf quest, due to the length of MEP2, which I cannot verify due to never doing the quest. I don't see why they wouldn't include it in the next Grandmaster quest, though. -
^Makes sense that they would wait, but they did give the dragon platebody in the first of a new series, though that was probably more to commemorate the first Grandmaster quest, probably. Considering the high demand for a dragon pickaxe, I don't think it would be wise to make us wait that long.

Shouldn't they have already been a partner since they were partners with the GT and this is basically the evolved form (pokemon reference ftw \ ) of the GT? -
Is the Grandmaster quest going to be Fremmy?
firsttsurugi replied to dannyb103's topic in General Discussion
^We already opened the mind door, we still need the body door and any other doors that may be past the rubble, such as a soul door. Also, I'm almost dead certain, to one of the posters above, that Jas is an Elder God, one of the ones that Guthix spoke of. The Fremminik will definitely play an important role, but, currently, the only major storylines that even have a chance of not playing a role in this Grandmaster storyline is the Goblin one, since it was already closed, but even that isn't entirely certain. -

Lol, your guy writing the X-Factor forgot to mention that John Henry won the competition in the end, or at least that is how I learned it. Very nice edition. I wasn't sure about this new team at first, but they've pulled through. -

Yup, this is YOUR last bump. I sent you an application last night for Associate Editor, so, yeah... And another reason I would be perfect that I forgot to mention, I have way TOO much free time. -
I can't believe nobody said Elfinlocks! It may be a fake character, but that examin says it's a player, so it counts!

Well, look on the bright side. At least now we have PROOF that Jagex keeps its promises. But in all seriousness, I am for the BTS disappearance, since it means that we'll get a nice surprise for some updates that aren't given DDs.
