What is the motivation behind these names?
firsttsurugi replied to lusciousboom's topic in General Discussion
Well, these people obviously lack the creativity to come up with or find a name that sounds more appealing to the people around you. -
Gielinor Tribune 24th Edition - Were Back!
firsttsurugi replied to Randox's topic in General Discussion
Thankfully, there are no more newpapers to get into childish arguements with. -
Gielinor Tribune 24th Edition - Were Back!

Well, you see, Book was the guy who did the imponderables. No Book= No imponderables. -
Gielinor Tribune 24th Edition - Were Back!

My god you're slow. "Were" should be "we're". -
Gielinor Tribune 24th Edition - Were Back!
firsttsurugi replied to Randox's topic in General Discussion
I was expecting some kind of "Now Hiring" thing on the edition. Well, to make up for that short coming... Now Hiring! If you feel you have any skill whatsoever in fulfilling any positions that we were lacking from our current staff (i.e. most of the positions), the please, oh god please, apply to fulfill one of those positions. -
Where would you be in life without Runescape?
firsttsurugi replied to Dean Ambrose's topic in General Discussion
I'd be a hundred dollars richer. That's about all the difference. -
a lvl 121 who has never gotten a chamipon scroll
firsttsurugi replied to mmmorgan's topic in General Discussion
I'm not a high level (only level 80 at the time of this post), but I did happen to get a Hill Giant scroll while training prayer. I had no idea that they were as rare as I've been hearing. Makes me feel incredibly lucky to have gotten one. -
trawler + humidify, morally wrong? or just smart?
firsttsurugi replied to jessy87's topic in General Discussion
If this is a cheap method of training magic, then it's obviously smart, but some people could consider it wrong. -
Ratchet and clanks are all unique and differant, anyway the way you use those weapons, the clunky shooting mechanics of jak makes the gunplay at times unplayable. Other than that i dont like how they blatantly reused previous stages and made you repeatedly go through them, i think a little more variety in the world other than corrupt cyber city i think is what Jak needs. The city had a complete remake for the third game, it got completely destroyed and at the start of the game there is a whole other city and huuuuuuuuuuuuge desert that is explorable at any time. Wow desert...I really want them to bring the series back to its roots, no more of this anime dark devil crazy jak phase and more platforming and the querky chemistry between the pair. I'm guessing you haven't even tried Jak 3, have you? Jak 3 has Light Jak, reveals his ancestry, and having the turbo jetboard in wasteland cheat is fun, just racing around dodging the Marauders on the jet board, especially when you manage to hit one of those rocks that causes you to go flying into the air. Also, the death by deapwater animation is better. A giant squid grabs you and pulls you underwater! I almost pissed myself I was so surprised! Also, Light Jak with his wings out and the needle lazer with infinite ammo is beastly! The only ones I haven't beaten are Daxter and Jak X, but I know what happens in both, and I own Jak X, I just never take the time to beat racing games. My main problem with Need for Speed games. Can't wait for the Lost Frontier, though.

Yes, No, Right Trigger (or left depending) I don't believe so #-o Yes 5 Dollas please :D jking There is CODEC, but you access it through the start menu. I've beaten the game on Solid Normal, Big Boss Hard, The Boss Extreme, Liquid Easy (solely for an easy Assassin emblem and Solar Gun), and am currently doing Naked Normal, just so that I've beaten all difficulties. Unfortunately, I'm not nearly good enough to get any emblem better than Wolf.

That reminds me of a scene from The Chronicles of Rid[bleep] when Rid[bleep] killed that guy with a tea cup. -
If only. :(

Watch, everything is going to unravel and we will learn that this is all a big South Park Easter Egg where everyone was brought together for the entertainment of others.

The Zaro part was just a guess, really.
-
Well, the elves were found to be in Gielinor before the humans, so I'm sure their god, Seren, is one of the elder gods, if not on the same level as Guthix. Another possibility is Zaros. He could have gone ahead to Gielinor before bringing his troops there and was noticeably (spelling?) more powerful than Guthix, which would explain why it is that Zaros sounds familiar to Guthix. He could have heard of him, but forgot all abou him.

The Runecrafting Guild - What will happen to rune prices?
firsttsurugi replied to magib1's topic in General Discussion
If the minigame offers a reasonable substitute from regular training, then runes would probably go up, since runecrafting is about the only way to get them for free and when we don't runecraft them, we buy them from people who do. -
Jak and Daxter Lurker Tzhaar Also, Omega Weapon Jad

^^The only Zelda game given a T rating was Twilight Princess. OT: Again, I say E.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Ganondorf bled and I'm sure if I check the Bottom of the Well and the Shadow Temple, I'll find blood and corpses. On Topic: I would say E for Everybody, since, in the end, every age group capable of playing (except maybe seniors) do, in fact, play. The only real bad thing in this game is everybody else, unless you're a noob, in which you are the only bad thing in this game.

double = two of the SAME ? While double would mean 2 of the same normally, with dual-weilding, we are basically talking about being able to weild 2 weapons at the same damn time, like in Halo 2 (never played 3), where you could equip an SMG with a Needler or a Magnum or a Plasma Rifle, etc, etc. Really, we already have that with defenders and Torag's.

^oh, you'll learn what the Gekko's are pretty damn fast. I absolutely hated them until I got the biggest and most epic weapon in the game (brought to you by Crying Wolf) that could one-hit them when fully charged.

22 January 2008 - Pawya and Grenwall Hunter Creatures
firsttsurugi replied to Capone_Sabre's topic in General Discussion
I was about to yell at you and say that farming takes a lot of money and patience, but then i looked at your stats and i saw u had 99 farming  Haha, I was waiting for someone to make that mistake. :P I'd have thought that with seeds prices crashing, the new tree patch in the gnome stronghold and the vine that farming was easy enough now. But Jagex just seem to keep making it even easier for no other reason than to try and hold onto its member base. :| You're right, farming is extremely easy. The problem for me is that I have the patience of a 5 year old, so I got most of my levels through rewards. I just spent some time doing some quests and stuff with farming rewards until I got level 25 for the Ring of Charos(a). :-w This update seems good, though it doesn't affect me due to my feeble farming and hunter level, as well as its position, since I've yet to even do Underground Pass. -
New Account Recovery System January 14th
firsttsurugi replied to Sonicspeed's topic in General Discussion
Uh, wait, so what have we been playing if Runescape is being released soon? (If anyone dare says "Ruinscape" or some other negative variation, I will jump through the computer, into their room, take out a Colt Single Action Army and shoot them in the balls  Unless it was a woman... then I would be a little stuck on that part) I like this idea. It reminded me that I have no idea what my recoveries are, so I changed them. The whole thing was extremely laggy, though. -
Achievement Diaries: More coming soon...
firsttsurugi replied to Zierro's topic in General Discussion
If that were the case, then I don't think there would be a Varrock Diary. I'm hoping for a Fremminik Diary, as well. I just think that would be around the most interesting of them all, and if they have rewards that are anything like the Varrock Diary, that would mean that I would no longer need to go all the way to Seers to get to a bank. \ -
I never said it was a bad thing, did I? I just said it somewhat freaked me out, but that's not something to start an arguement over. Other than that, the only thing I've done that could even remotely start an arguement would be me complimenting Xew's article. I'm the guy here who's completely nuetral, because I really don't need to be in a biased arguement. Or am I just full of myself and have no idea what I'm talking about? I'll just let you decide and be on my merry way to the next topic.
