The only thing listed that was told in the dev diary was the Behind the Scenes back in 2004. The Tower of Life was never mentioned in the dev diary. I never had the bulldog ad and never will put it up because at the time it was put in the KB, it had no direct link to summoning. The old BTS is the only thing that was in the Dev Diary. I actually discussed the wolpertinger on the TIF chat the day the Nov. BTS came out but had no clue what it was for. So you saying that everything I have posted is mentioned in the Diary (exception the Chaos Elem) is false. The only thing actually mentioned was the old BTS. If you can somehow tell me where it mentions anything about the Tower of Life, Malignus, or any other topic with the exception of the 2004 BTS in the Development Diary, then please copy and paste the article. I don't know about the bulldog image, since, if it was there, it was before I came, but as of recently, he doesn't have it in there. Also, a forum post is harder to find than a development diary being displayed for everyone to see.

Something tells me that once this update occurs, worlds 1,2, and all the other trading worlds will still be as lively as they ever were, if just won't be necessary to spend 3 hours trying to log on to world 2 to simply buy one small item. This will be easier for me when I decide to subscribe again and just put a price on certain items in bulk (white berries), then just walk away.

If you read the the second paragraph in the part about the march BTS, they say that there are still 4 other things to do, one of them being impossibly at this time. Well, as I'm sure everyone knows, 4-1=3, and 3+1(summoning)=4, and there are 3 other diaries left in this, so it could easily be the other 3 things left to do that are currently possible to do.

well, summoning isn't that big, so I imagine that they have a LOT more to this than they are letting on. I imagine that they are going to add something at around the same time that requires summoning that is much, MUCH bigger.

Ummm, because people are scum? I've never been scammed by a friend, because I never trust any of my friends. The only person that I would even THINK of trusting (and I don't think about trusting him anyway) would be my cousin, because he knows if he scammed me, he will regret it.

I think the reason they destroyed staking was so that we would all get mad at the real-world traders and scare them into getting their act together, then maybe Jagex may fix them. Thank god I'm f2p, though. \

It won't destroy merchanting. I'd bet you anything that merchanting won't change a bit and you'd still see everything just as it was before. When this update is released, I dare you to go to world 2 (or 1 if you're a free player) and expect NOT to see Falador just as it always was.

I'm just gonna tell myself that it's going to be something very, very crappy as to keep my expectations low so that I'll be extremely excited when it's released. (you may want to follow my example, a couple good ideas floating around here...)

Well, as cool as I think that would be, I don't think it is the case in this particular situation. Even if they did, I would prefer it for only the Combat stats, and have the max for the melee stats, range, and magic be significantly lower than hitpoints, only to help balance things out more and not make killing people as fast as killing a crapload of whatever kind of small and fragile animal with a Maser cannon (any Godzilla fan would know what a Maser is) if they were grouped together and swarming towards you.

Let's see, Hunting was implemented in 2006, if i remember correctly. There were apparently skills in 2005 that were implemented (i started in '06). I'm not sure about all the other years, though i'm sure they all had at least ONE skill, so since there hasn't been a new skill since '06, I'm going with a new skill.
