  1. *Looks at cousin* You willing to bet money on that?
  2. I TOLD him! :notalk: I didn't like the comic too much either. It wasn't too funny, and I have a relative who was arrested for possession with intent to sell.
  3. that bastard.
  4. Yes, we make mistakes sometimes. Just take solice in the fact that you didn't see Randox's issue before Book decided to take the editting into his own hands. :ohnoes: You would have lost more IQ points than if you read the entire of the RSOF. No offense to Randox, of course.
  5. YES!! Finally, a smart person decided to bring this thread back in this dark time. Player: Do you have gold armor?(this isn't the noob part) Player: Gild (that's why) Me: No. Player: Can I have free money plz? Before I could explain to him how he should make his own, he went and started... making his own... Noobs seem to have their smart moments, apparently. :ohnoes:
  6. It's not nescessary to make a post on everything we make. Honestly, it just get's annoying to see how many timese you can correct our..."gramatical errors." I mean, everything you write is perfect? No. Please, don't come on our topic and post to say that we made an error in this or that. Anyways, send in applications guys! Project Onyx is looking for some great new staff additions! Okay, everyone who is currently fighting, I just want you to know that pointing out that there were errors in not a crime, and, in no way, will ever be a crime. We get the same thing each issue, too. Sometime, ironically, from you, and other times from observant, neutral readers. Stop taking it so seriously and, for ONCE, can you all just get along before I have to involve my SAA in this! :shame:
  7. With mage? The only thing that could do that is the Wise Old Man!
  8. So, what you are saying is that we should make the wilderness what it used to be... and get absolutely no rewards from kills? While that does seem good in your theory, this whole idea makes revenants seem all the better. At least when we kill them, we get items, though not exactly good items, we do get standard glories and dragon daggers. It would be better to at least have danger with small rewards than to have danger for no rewards whatsoever. Though it may still attact those who just pk for fun, not for drops.
  9. Now THAT is just corrupt and tyranical! Jagex should NOT be allowed to get away with that.
  10. Well, I'm going to find a noob conversation to put into the Noob's say the funniest things thread so that we at least have that during these times of everyone turning into conspiracy theorists.
  11. BS! Jagex knows that stats are more important to a player than items. I worked YEARS for my 1919 skill total. Over 6 to be exact. I'd rather have my STATS than ANY of the tripe in my bank. I can get the items back rather quickly. The QUESTS/STATS would just hurt to much to try. #-o Sorry, didn't think about that. Then in that case, I would suggest to them that they transfer the STATS (they can change their own, why not his) to the new account, as well as items. Or just rename the account. Both just seem so much better.
  12. Well, considering the situation, I think they had a very good reason to allow him to break said rule that one time. I do think it was unfair to ban him for something that made absolutely no sense, but at least they were generous enough to try to work a deal out with him.
  13. The kids don't like it when mommy and daddy fight. :lol: As far as I'm concerned, it's true that a lot of pkers were rather scummy and truly corrupted pking, but there are also many that are "honorable" and don't deserve to lose their means of Rs money-making, but all of this should not be blamed at Jagex, it should all be blamed on the RWTers. People rioting should go to THOSE sights and give them hell. And you 2, cut the crap! =; :shame: =;
  14. That is basically Jagex saying sorry. :XD: You know, in all this crap I've been hearing you say, Latino, this is the one that I agree with.
  15. This is why I've always relied on myself to get my own ess. We've apparently become dependent on bots, and since bots are no longer a problem, we are no longer use to Runescape without bots supplying us with extreme amounts of ess.
  16. Very good editorial. I liked it much better than the last one (though that is mostly because this one shares my views). The last one was still very good, since it actually pointed out the problem in a way that didn't seem like the new trend (Runescape is dead/broken, or I'm going to quit Runescape) and gave solutions. This one showed many good points to the updates that I didn't even realise, and I seemed like the most aggressive person fighting for the update (though my aggressive posts were mainly on 2 invisionfree forums). Again, very good.
  17. Just make up a tournament style for the Clan Wars minigame. Have the leaders come up with a roster to follow for each site to war.
  18. Yes, I said something similar somewhere in these forums. Very good advice.
  19. let's not split hairs about it shall we? the original spirit of pking is dead. for example...is staking gone? no...you can still stake. but the SPIRIT of it is dead. There are no more thrills or rush of high roller staking. Sorry, but you're talking to the guy who's constantly referred himself as heartless and souless. I didn't think about the spirit of pking, just thought in terms that might help other people to cope.
  20. Technically, pking still exists, just not the old stereotypical, definition-mutated version of it. Pking is just player killing, nothing more. So, as long as you can kill a player, you can pk. Edit: according to someone else, I forgot about the SPIRIT of pking, so disregard that.
  21. Don't say they eliminated the appeal, just say they added appeal by allowing you to pretend your Clint Eastwood in "For a Few Dollars More!" I'm staying positive. I know that people will change their views eventually, just as Muhammad Ali said.
  22. I just thought of something! Pking is NOT dead! Why? Because pking means player killing, not specifically player killing in the wildy. Every time you kill someone in the duel arena, bounty hunter, or clan wars, you are player killing, so as long as you have that option to kill players, player killing shall never die!
  23. I wish to redicule your idiotic thoughts after you're done reading the article. :shame: Other than the exaggerations of the trading caps, acting like 1gp was actually going to be considered an unbalanced trade, he made a very good arguement, much better than the "I quit Runescape" and "Runescape is dead/broken" arguements. Oh, and I noticed he said 5k nats in the 1gp difference thing, but I'm sure that he could have simply made 2 trades anyway. It's not like nobody has nats.
  24. Oh, please. They are going to keep these updates, and everyone here is going to hate them until they realize just how naive and idiotic they were to hate these updates.
