Party tricks

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

What do you think are the best things that you can practice and get really good at, so when you go to a party, you can amaze people with that talent, and make them go "wow".

It would have to be something small really, like something that could fit into your pocket or something.

Ermmm If its An 18+

You try and do missiles

Basically you get a straw you put it into a beer glass (Can not be a can)

Basically because air is being let out ..somehow you can down the whole drink in two second

Also the beer does not fall out of the straw

My friend did this really cool thing where he drank some alcohol then set it alight while still in his mouth...that really impresses

Most of these will be R-rated :-$

Personally I stick to jokes or casual chatter to break the ice. Most magic tricks are hard to pull off at a party, especially if you're slightly tipsy.

I have been wanting to try a couple tricks though.

One is a coin trick:

The other is a trick with marijuana where you "drink" the smoke:

This is a really entertaining way to smoke dope, and also a pretty good party trick. =) First, take a nice-sized glass mug or jar, run it under the faucet, and put it into the freezer for about twenty minutes. Light a joint and put it into a holder (a Bic pen with the innards removed works well) until only the burning cherry and about another 1/4" of the joint are sticking out. Then take the burning end and CAREFULLY put it into your mouth. Take the jar out of the freezer, stick the end of the Bic pen (the end you'd be dragging on if using the pen like a cigarette holder) near the bottom of the jar, and blow. The cold jar keeps the smoke from escaping, and you can fill the jar to the top (it's possible to get the entire joint in). Then take the jar, put it to your lips, and inhale it into your lungs by tipping it into your mouth just as you would a drink. The smoke will be so cold you can barely feel it going down. It's complicated to do correctly, and takes some practice, but it's probably one of my favourite methods.

Not really a trick, but

When you have a beer bottle, and a friend has another bottle, if you hit the top of the other bottle with the bottom side of the other bottle, there is some sort of a reaction and foam will get out very fast :)

Ofcourse, its better if your friend doesnt know about the trick.

I guess everybody knows about that trick, but hey.

What is it he throws there? 2 coins? Because something splits in two.. the darker object moves away and it's the lighter one that hits the cubes.. Nice trick anyway :P

I really hate people who do that, it's just such a waste of a drink and it's just plain annoying.

He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart,

and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.

I'm not sure, but I bet it looks good when everyone's had a bit to drink. :)

Here's a really good trick:

More of a prank but, if you get someones pint and a beer mat, put the beer mat on top of the point and use this to keep the liquid in, turn the beer upside down and leave it on the table - then, watch as they try to get it up without spilling any. just remember to turn one of the corners of the mat up so you can get it up for them :P

This is pretty cool too...

No one does tricks at a party, let's be realistic. The only 'tricks' are pulling abilities, dancing abilities and/or drinking abilities. Do one of them and you're sorted.

A few weeks ago we were drinking with this guy who was up from England, he was about 18/19 stone. He wanted to show us his party trick, he only does it when he's drunk apparently. So he got up and just did the splits, was pretty funny.

Agreed to that and would also add social abilities to it.

I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

He hits a lid which he placed on top of a bottle of some sort of Spirits with a coin he orginally bounced off the table. That coin rebounds onto the ice cubes and knocks all 3 in. Sweet trick if you ask me.
