July 2, 200719 yr If you buy steel bars and make cannon balls or buy iron bars and make knives, it won't cost you anything really... other than the initial startup money to buy the bars of course. It's been a while since I've done any smithing, but I think you may even make a slight profit.

Thats a good way, but smithing steel plates is also effective; high alching them can also help your magic. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
