Ok thanks. Which one is probably the best?

Luckily I have a think skull, I don't think I am suffering too much brain damage, at least not yet. I'll try one more time.

None of them are "best." Just pick the spells you like, according to how you want to fight. If you want to shoot fireballs, lighting, or ice at foes, then choose those spells. You should probably should get one of each, so you can ice flame creatures, and flame ice creatures. However, if you want to shoot fireballs at a flame atronachs, then you can. It will be harder, but if it's funner for you that way then go for it. It's kind of fun to kill a creature made of fire with fire. Don't forget to cast a weakness to fire first though, because if you don't fire won't damage it. All that is based in the school of destruction. If you want extra muscle to help you fight, buy some summon spells. That would be the school of conjuration. If you want to help augment a thief character, buy some chameleon, night-eye, or silence spells. That would be the school of illusion. If you want to buff your charter before a fight, and then heal him quickly after/during a fight, then choose some fortify attribute/skill spells and a restoration spell. That would be the school of restoration. There's still two more schools out there, just choose the spells you are going to use, and don't worry about what classification they are.

@rick: Yeah, I thought poison apples were the only ones. I am pretty sure there isn't anything new like that in the expansion. I remember seeing a good amount of poison apples while doing stuff with the Dark Brotherhood, but I finished that a good 140 gameplay hours ago and can't remember even where the main base is. I think I remember something about an abandoned house and a well.

I've realised that I would love telekinesis to pieces if Oblivion could actually allocate damage based on what someone is hit with and at what speed.

Nothing puts me off more than hurling a war axe at someone at a small fraction of C and have it just bounce off him and shoot around the room like a high monkey with a pogo stick.

OMG Oblivion is an awesome game!!!!!!!!!!

PS: you get your major skills up by killing monsters with them, try the arena, just dont kill townspeople ulnless your ready to fight the suprisingly tough guards.

I asked your opinion on which YOU thought is the best, like destruction or amny of the others, not which one IS the best

That's even worse than asking what is the best. You are going to base your choice on which one I like the best rather than statistics that say which one is the best? I mean either way it is stupid, choose the spells you want and whatever school they are in don't worry about it.

Anyways I don't even have an opinion which one is best, I use them all. Whatever I need to get the job done.

How long does it usually take to beat Oblivion. I know that some people take 700 hours to beat Morrowind and experts can beat it in seven minutes even thought i don't know how they can do it, they do it without cheats... :-k

And the cavemen wondered how to make fire...

Im in the .00001% that finds Firemaking fun. If you find it fun add this to your siggy.

I have 200 hours in Oblivion, I had over 350 in Morrowind. I haven't done any modding in Oblivion yet though. I've completed a lot of stuff, but my skills still aren't maxed out yet. In Morrowind it was easier because you could train all 10 skill points needed to level, in Oblivion you can only buy half.

Well if you just want to beat the main quest line i bet it would take about a week maybe less of alot of playing. If you want to get all of your skills to master though and do all the quests i have something to say to you.

Good luck because your going to need it.
