July 8, 200719 yr Well, I want to raise my smithing level, but I dont know what is the fastest xp. My level is 58 at the moment. I want to do get as much xp per hour as possible, but I dont want to lose money. So are there any fast methods that still break even?

Fast: Steel Plates (fast but very expensive), iron plates (bit slower but cheaper too) Break Even: Iron Knives (slow but more or less breaks even). July 8, 200719 yr Not really any methods that allow you to break even. Only one I can think of are Iron Knives. Best EXP is smelting gold with the crafting glvoes from the Family Crest Quest.
July 8, 200719 yr You guys are forgetting cannonballs! :P Buy 1k steel bars for 600 each, sell the 4k cannonballs for 150-200 each. Profit, but a little less experience per bar than normal steel bar smithing. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
July 8, 200719 yr OR, you could mine mith and coal in the guild, superheat the bars, and then walk over to the anvils, smith 2 handers(or kites for a little bit less cash at lower level), high alch it all. You make a 260 gp profit if you buy the nats at 300 each. It's 1,560[high alch]-(300*3[super heat]+300[alch]). This however requires 64 smithing and 55(I think magic), so I guess this really doesn't relate to you... You can make kiteshields at level 62 for a 26 gp profit. July 8, 200719 yr i guess it is true. but steeplate requires clicking around and withdraw from bank and goldores require less clicking.. you can browse internet or do something else while the goldores are smelting.. it is a better option for long term perspective

July 8, 200719 yr you can get a ton of exp and money by buying 2k steel bars 500gp ea (no trading in wild like i did and died) then make cannonballs...4 cannonballs for 1 bar so thats 8k cannonballs which are 200gp ea.. keep doing it until u got as much exp and money as u want =] f34r my z3r0 h1ts
July 8, 200719 yr Theres that place with like heaps of rocks... about 50+? You have to do a quest and have a smithing level to make a golden helmet. Once you mine the gold you can get a dwarf to take it up to the bank for you at a cost. You pay him with your gold ore. Starting a new clan or simply want a better site?
