I agree that the Jagex filter is messed up. My name is even cencored slightly.

Then over 98% Percent of the world is Crude. Everyone has said a crude word at least once. and if they havent already, they probably will. crude words is part of the thing that makes us people (in my opinion) crude words are meant as an expression of anger, saddness, pain, and sometimes even happiness. But thats just my opinion...

Yeah, and this 13+ thing is a new thing too lol, because when I joined it certainly wasn't there.

 

 

 

Also, it is a bit stupid, because you can just say, yes, I am 25 or something, when you are 9 and get on anyway.

I suspect that there is a quite a large difference between those words used in context in films, and those words used directed towards you in the in-game chat.

 

 

 

Though one word I want unblocked is 'homo-'. The chat blocks it, even when part of a word. It means 'the same', for flips sake, whats wrong with that? For that matter whats wrong with homosexuality that even an inadvertant mention must be censored?

 

 

 

Censoring that just bugs me because there are so many legitimate words that contain it.

 

 

 

I agree also, i've used this word a number of times not to insult people but in my general speech. I hate it when talking to friends.. especially as metrosexuals have appeared and in full boom atm (where i am anyway) that topic seems to come up a fair bit.

i agree with the censor being a bit over-the-top.

 

i mean which one do you think is better:

 

"darn it! i got scammed"

 

"damn it! i got scammed"

 

i think the second one gets the point across better :?
