ya im only 64 magic and i was wondering if i would be able to use mage potion or wizards mind bomb to get to 66 and do the quest at 64 magic.

most quests are potable if you use that skill during the quest. Since you use 66 mage to get into the guild, then yes, you should be able to pot.

yes u can i was oly 62 magic and i used a magic pot to gain 66 magic.

Just so you know, you cannot do this for Lunar Diplomacy. It's one of the few quests where potting won't work.

One tip for potion or drink use...

 

 

 

Lose a little HP (eg. pick a fight with something not to strong, unarmour and be hit before you kill it), then wait for HP to recover by 1 - that gives you the timer tick, and now the full effect of a portion will last until the next tick.
