This would cost about 17m and three people, AKA, the guild owners who decide what the guild would be. They would buy it from the Guild builder who had built all the guilds. It would cost 17m then it would take two days to built then before you open it you decide how many floors there will be, 2m for every floor. Then you decide what kind of guild, then you fill it with stuff from that skill, prices varying. Then find a portal to put it in. Yanille, Brimhaven, Adrougune, and other places with names I can't Remember. You can then charge 1k - 5k for entrance of your guild, or if you want free. You can keep updating your guild, it'll be closed till you finish updating. The reason I made it three people to make the guild cause the money for one thing. And I know you're probally thinking People can totally set this up on they're own. But some take care of the money, usually the most trusted one. The other keeps records of whose been there and the third as the money taker. If you try and go in without paying it will kick you out and say. "You did not pay, you can't go in for a hour." Also, the only good guild can ask for 4-5k, the more exspensive they spent on the guild and how fancy and much it trains a hour is how good it is. I suggest the prices be along the lines of POH's. Expensive, but not too expensive. You make the guilds in different places, free to get a plot of land (basic spot). Then you use the CONSTRUCTION skill to make the guild, just like you would a POH. Except different items to place in it, etc. Prices could be a bit more than POH's but POH's are already quite expensive so making it 17m? hohto Posted July 20, 2007 Share Posted July 20, 2007 Few things I don't agree with... * The price doesn't seem right. If the guild is actually worth using, that's far too cheap. If it's just like a POH with little extra xp features, it's not worth using and thus not worth the cash. If the xp&gp is better than from normal areas, the price should be at least double that. * I don't agree with the idea of more than 1 players owning the guild. First of all, this would easily lead into scamming problems. Second, if the guild is worth getting, people will get enough cash to get it anyways. You also didn't mention any skills, ways to level there or levels needed to build these things. In my opinion a guild should be the highest lvl room to be build as it would serve a purpose for other skills and other players too. Magic/Construction: Create the portal in a designated hotspot in a town. [Normal spell runes * 100 to create portal, respective construction level to build the portal frame.] Construction: Build your guild! Add floors, change the outside (limestone bricks, etc.). [Different materials can be used depending on Construction level.] Guild Type Skill: Install various equipment and hire various shopkeepers that fall into the category of your guild. hohto Posted July 21, 2007 Share Posted July 21, 2007 This idea I got could fit here pretty well... As we all know, sometimes selling and buying stuff isn't too fun. You might arrange a deal with someone at forums and then be training in the middle of nowhere when he logs in. You might want to do other things while you'd have to buy stuff. For this we could make a player owned store which is related to your house. The idea is rather simple. You build a chest kind of an item to your house and then add items there and set prices which you will trade them for. In the other words it works a bit like a general store: there's item x and it has price y. Also buying stuff could be added to this: you set up an item which you want to buy, set a price for it and the max amount you will buy. After this people can trade with you by going for house portal and click an option which says something about check other player's market or so. This update would change the merchanting world a lot. First of all people wouldn't need to waste time getting into busy merchant worlds, they could easily buy smaller amounts at once, the chances to get scammed gets lowered and arranging trades would get easier.
