'The' approached us with a mini war offer, 5 day prep, matched opts, NO FA'S FOR CORR.

 

We started massing at around 8pmg gmt and headed out at 8:45pm gmt with around 200 opts. We heard that 'THE' had around 200 + opts and thought we would have to cut a lot of people. We headed up and dd'd at 9pm gmt and waited for 'THE' to charge. At around 20mins into the fight, we got hit by randoms hard, so that messed us up for about 2 minutes. We then regrouped and dd's again waiting for 'THE' to come. It was around 9:30pm gmt when 'THE' finally made an appearance, they started walking around and walking away and then would come back. This was quite anoying, but we still managed to get our first pile.

 

 

 

The fight started off with big ko piles from both clans, spamming was good, transition was really good as compared to a few fights we have had in the past. The fight only lasted around 30mins and after that the full force of 'THE' was gone and we stood Victorious.

About this opt difference. This was suppose to be a matched opt war. But as 'THE' were coming up they told us just to bring all our opts. So we did.

Options, more commonly known as the shortened term opts is something clans use to gauge how many people are present at their PK trip. Something considered as great opts would be 300+ (over 100 people), something which is rather low would be 60 opts whilst a good 200 opts is a solid turnout. Keeping in mind this would be in the context of a top 20 clan.

 

 

 

You can see how many "opts" a team has when they stand still following the leader. So for example, look at the top of this picture, it says "attack XXX /147 more options.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Generally, when clans take opts in the wilderness, you divide the number of opts by 3 to get an accurate picture of how many PEOPLE were at the PK trip. So in the case of that picture, we ended with 49 people after starting with 200 opts (66 people)

I couldn'y go to that one so great job guys on winning, very nice of 'The' to let us keep all our opts and I want to thank them for offering us the fight in the first place, you still got a lot of prowess when it comes down to wars. I think that you should declare a full out mini on Eh, that would interest me.
