Well you can't really control that, unless you take some sort of medicine for it, like I did. and besides if they make fun of your friend for that, tell your friend to laugh at there face, since acne is caused by puberty ;) which the kids who were making fun of him haven't started yet :P
July 31, 200718 yr Get the best grades possible or you'll regret it later. That's easily some of the best advice anyone can give you. Simply don't slack on your schoolwork and get into some extracurricular activities. Work before play. Have fun at prom and things like that, don't let ANY girls ruin your experience and don't do anything that you'll regret; think before you act.
July 31, 200718 yr Conform. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.
August 1, 200718 yr Get to know someone who works there. SERIOUSLY..I didn't know my mom's friend was the attendance clerk there until 2 weeks ago (I start school in a week). I was scared about the size of the school. Turns out, it's a big square. The entrance from the bus lanes goes into the 100 -400 hallway intersection..and freshmen are in 300 hallway. All but 2 or 3 of my classes are there..the rest are in the gym, and 400 hallway >.> Learn the layout. It's not confusing to me anymore..also, try to act normal. Don't be a little kid, get to class on time, do your homework, stuff like that. I'm going to be freshman in a week..there's all of the knowledge I know so far >.>
August 1, 200718 yr I started my freshman year just one week ago (I have a wierd Summer break, I don't wanna get into it :P ), and I can say it's pretty awesome. To me it was a lot liek middle school, except upperclassmen are like "you are SUCH a freshman!", which annoys the hell outta me. But just enjoy yourself and it won't be that bad. Oh, and I'd be crying if I went to an all-boy's school. :P
August 1, 200718 yr Pffff high school is easy. I found that I get better marks in highschool than I did in elementary school Don't wory about getting lost, after a day or two you'll know the route from class to class to cafeteria which is all you need to know for a bit haha :P Just find people with the same classes as you and go search for the class with them At my school all the 100's are on first floor and 200's on 2nd, but the order makes no sense :?
