July 30, 200718 yr It's possible... I think your character continues to fight for as much as 60 seconds after you close the window without properly logging out.

July 31, 200718 yr yeah hees right but its not 60 seconds its until your character becomes unactive so u must either win or loose the fight at least thats my opionin correct me if im wrong
July 31, 200718 yr i may be wrong, but i think you stay logged in, fighting, and you wont be logged out untill you, or the monster/opponent is dead (you can not log out 10 seconds after combat) or whatever. done with runescape
July 31, 200718 yr The only exception to this is Xlogging which he may have done accidentally, after approximately 60 seconds, if the server still has not recieved anything from your end it exits you out. This is illegal to do though.
July 31, 200718 yr auto retaliate is a key thing here, if it on then you will continue fighting until monsters stop attacking you which often can lead to death. July 31, 200718 yr well I knw for a fact that if you log out accidentally by using "backspace" key or something like that (to go to the previous page).. You log out in 60 seconds - even if you're still fighting! (this happened to me lots and lots of times since I tend to browse forums/do other stuff while playing RS..) First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.
